In the spirit of Oprah, Kathy decides to open up the Kathy Griffin Leadership Academy Para las Niñas in Mexico. With the help of Team Griffin and Steve Wozniak, Kathy hopes to rebuild a school.
Upon arrival in Mexico, Steve's assistant, Julie, informs Kathy that Steve might not make it due to an infection from a pulled tooth; Kathy worries, since she knows next to nothing about technology. And that's not all: A nap in the sun turns Kathy's face as red as her hair!
With their best foot forward, and a representative from Apple that is fluent in Spanish, Kathy and Team Griffin begin to befriend the kids, explain their purpose, and rebuild the library of the school. Unfortunately, Jessica gets a little bossy and they almost have to quit their job altogether.
The kids eventually warm to Kathy - especially a boy named Cristián. Luckily, Steve shows up in time to give some of the kids computer lessons.
Kathy speaks to the Mexican press core about her motivation, and finds that the shy girls in the school "get to her," since she used to be one of them.
The trip concludes with Team Griffin building a Kathy-like rag doll, which the kids promptly destroy like a piñata.
