She attended Birkenhead High School, where she sang in the choir and ran the Sunday School. She studied English at Liverpool University, and after graduation worked without pay at the Liverpool Playhouse. She was asked to join the company, and later studied at Old Vic Theatre School in Bristol. She then moved to London where she built an impressive stage career over the next several years, also appearing on Broadway in 1966 - 1968. Patricia has worked in TV since the early 1950s, most recently in Keeping Up Appearances. She has also recorded an album, Presenting Patricia Routledge, and worked in film and radio. She has never married or had children, has said that she will not retire, and lives in Kensington and Surrey when not working.moreless

Judy is best known for her role as Daisy in the British sitcom Keeping Up Appearances. Her life's work, however, extends far beyond that role. Her career began with performances in pantomime and vaudeville shows. She later moved on to perform on radio, in films, and on television, as well as live on stage. Although she is best known for her acting abilities, Judy Cornwell is also an accomplished author. She has published four novels, as well as her autobiography, Adventures of a Jelly Baby. All four of her novels are available in audio form, with Ms. Cornwell as the reader. On December 18, 1960, she married her husband John Kelsall Parry. The couple has one child.moreless

    Ian had only a couple of months of acting experience when, in 1968, he landed the role of 17-year-old Private Frank Pike in the BBC classic sitcom "Dad's Army."

    The father-of-two has a wide range of TV and theatre roles to his credit and continues to work consistently in both mediums. He's appeared in a double episode of "Casualty" and in pantomime.

    A few years ago when he was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder. He underwent two operations and a course of radiotherapy, which was a success, and he made a full recovery.

    He recently suffered a heart attack, causing him to reduce his amount of work.moreless
