Hyacinth always likes to keep a few steps ahead of everyone else if possible. When she decides that all socially prominent people have 'weekender'country houses to go off to, she is insistent that she and Richard must own one.

With this in mind, she arms herself with some very expensive real estate brochures and begins looking at several country properties, the prices of which almost give Richard heart failure!

Finally, she and Elizabeth drive out to look at a small loft apartment which is part of a huge, impressive mansion. Hyacinth, of course, loves everything about it but Richard gets just a LITTLE bit worried when he thinks that Hyacinth wants to buy the entire property!

An hilarious episode. Don't miss it.moreless
