Hyacinth is over the moon when Major and Mrs. Wilton-Smythe invite herself and Richard to spend the weekend with them at a golfing hotel. Richard, however, could not be less enthusiastic as he considers himself hopeless at golf and does not particularly want to play at all.

Upon arrival, Hyacinth finds much to criticize about the room, the towels and, most particularly the amorous noises coming from the couple in room 210.

Meeting up with the Major, Richard find that Mrs. Wilton-Smythe did not make the trip and that the Major himself has a bad leg, however, he sportingly arranges for Richard to play a round with his old chum Porky Hooton while he himself undertakes to entertain Hyacinth.

Naturally, the Major has a very different type of entertainment in mind than just a nice drive in the country and a furious and dishevelled Hyacinth has to, literally, fight him off in order to protect her honour. To make matters worse, the identity of the amourous couple in room 210 is revealed and Hyacinth is not quite sure how much more she can take! In the end, both she and Richard decide that golfing is not for them after all!moreless

  • The episode Hyacinth Tee's Off is personal to us. As we have distant relative making an appearance as a hotel guest Bernard Archard. I use to watch the show with my mom and have found a new found interest in the show. I had forgotten how funny it was.moreless

Finding Bernard Archard in the episode Hyacinth Tee's Off is awesome. He is my Husbands great grandfather\'s cousin. I love the show. My mom has watched it for years and watches it over and over again.I was estatic to see Bernard Archard as a guest star. Now I will be making my husband watch it until that episode comes back on. I love Hyacinth. She is so funny. I love what a snob she tries to be and how her family members embarrass her all the time.
Awesome with show or without Bernard Archard. A bonus to see him in it.moreless
