  • Possibly one of the funniest of all the episodes of the show! Hyacinth invites Elizabeth and Emmett out to see her new home and partake of a quaint 'country tea'.

    10
Hyacinth is very excited at the idea of showing off her new country home to her friends, and so, she invites Elizabeth and Emmett down for tea. Things don't go very well when a spot of horse riding turns into a fiasco and we see that the attic apartment is so small that people are barely able to move once inside it, not to mention the fact that it's necessary to climb several flights of stairs in order to reach it in the first place.

When the guests arrive, things quickly become very cramped when Richard finds that others who live in the mansion have been invited to view the new home as well and that Emmett, after having lemonade spilled on him by the ever-nervous Elizabeth, jumps up and ends up putting his head through the ceiling!

Truly hilarious. The script and the acting is flawless. If you miss this one, you are truly denying yourself a great comedy treat.moreless
