When Richard took early retirement from his job at the local council, he was presented with a video camera as a leaving gift by his employers. Hyacinth has a brainwave and decides that Richard needs a new hobby and that the hobby is going to be amateur film making!

As usual, poor Richard has no say in the matter what so ever when Hyacinth dresses him up like a French director and instructs him to go out filming and bring back some brilliant to show her! Reluctantly, Richard does as he is told (naturally) but runs into a bit of a problem when the law thinks he is up to no good!

Very funny and a terrific performance from Clive Swift as the poor, hen-pecked Richard just doing what he's told.moreless

Wow! After watching the promo for this episode, I thought Ryan was going to get shot and sent to the hospital, but no no, apparently not. Though I am happy for that. I think it was good that he stayed safe and sound. Julia certinly losed control, however I feel sorry for her, and I hope that she and Horatio can move on and start over fresh. I'm not suggesting that they become lovers again, but maybe friends. And Tara! I hadn't expected her little secret to be revealed! I thought the whole secret-thing was going to be about Ryan actually, and the time that he had been forced to hide evidence because of the russian mob. Tara made a big mistake, but I hope this isn't the last we see of her. I like her, and I hope that she is given another chance. Ronb Saris, what can I say about the guy except that I'm waiting for the day that he either dies or is sent to jail. I don't like him. As a conclusion, I have to say that this was one of the most exiting episodes ever!moreless
