The episode picks up from the last episode. Gen Shishio goes to meet with the head of the two Kekkaishi families. After meeting with Tokiko Yukimura (Grandmother of Tokine), he goes next door to talk to Shigemori Sumimura who is out talking to an old friend. Shigemori Sumimura is having his old friend, Heisuke Matsudo, do research on skin Yoshimori found that can hide / cover an Ayakashi. Finally an Ayakashi attacks the school and Gen, Yoshimori, and Tokine defeat it.
