They should've included a bomb in the D-Command process. I can imagine it now.

Commander: What's happening to the D-Command?!

Yusef: It's overpowering, sir! A complete failure! We have to evacuate immediately!

Soldier: I knew something like this would happen!

Yusef: The D-Command data stream is imploding! The entire place could go out like a bomb!

Commander: There must be something you can do. Shut it down, restart it, and activate the process all over again.

Yusef: But that's impossible! It's over now. Get out now while you still can!

Commander: Hold it! Are you abandoning your duty?!

Yusef: No, sir. I just decided that my life is more valuable than your own cause. It seems that its artificial intelligence has become too smart for its own good. Goodbye, sir.

(Commander sees Eclair and Lumiere, who are very worried and concerned)

Commander: (sighs) Eclair. Lumiere. Go on, get out of here.

    Eclair: Good luck.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • The D-Command virus consists of a bunch of micromachined robots that rapidly reproduce themselves and spread all over the body, immobilizing the victims. Lumiere has mentioned she had survived such an attack before but not Eclair.

A similar nanomachine virus concept was the focus of the space adventure movie Cowboy Bebop The Movie which was released on September 1, 2001.

    • Yosef comments that the power emanating is equivalent to a G class, which is highest level.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Commander: 17:49. Both targets lost. (Yusef and soldiers react in shock) Let's go, men. Move out!

    • Viola: This is ridiculous. They put enough garlic in my pasta to kill a horse.

    • Armbrust: If I know you, you'll do just fine. Otherwise I wouldn't have helped you.
      Éclair: Then all this time…
Armburst: They say that to deceive your enemy, you have to begin with your friends.

    • Armbrust: Humans are greedy; therefore they are human. In other words, you cannot fight your own nature.
      Eclair: What do you mean?
Armbrust: It's simple. You have to learn to accept things the way they are. Your past, the choices you've made, and the future laid out before you.
Eclair: It doesn't sound so simple to me.
