  • There is too much in each show

    7.4
I was really excited when I orginally saw the previews for this series. It looked interesting and all the actors are great. But after watching the first couple of episodes I figured out what is wrong with this show. The writers have introduced too much background information. There is no need for father's connection with the mob. There is no need for the guy in prison and the FBI just cloggs up every episode. If this was just about the family and the guy they hired to find their son that would be great. But dragging the kidnapping out over a whole season was just stupid.moreless
  • The plot thickens as the Cain family have a social party full of suspects that might know where Leopold is.

    8.0
Great episode!!! Gritty, dramatic, well acted. Jeremy Sisto was great here (again) as Knapp. Olivia Thirlby as Audrey

    Cain was hot as well.

Anyhow, Conrad Cain (Hutton) starts to go through his list of old friends (and enemies) who he thinks might be behind Leopold's kidnapping. He thinks Jimmy Sullivan (played well by Oz star Terry Kinney). Sullivan and Cain hate each other's guts now because of bad business and other things.

Cain moved up in the world while Jimmy became nothing.

Great acting and action here. Cain gets the heck beat out of him then at the party gets his revenge on Jimmy , however, his gut feeling is off as Sullivan knows nothing.

Then Mrs. Cain gets propositioned by a associated named Mr. Scott who wants to extort money out of her for Leopold.

Anyways, I won't reveal the rest except this episode was great. The show definitely isn't as predictable as I thought it be. There are interesting things thrown here and there (the bad guys even kill other bad guys to throw people off the case). "Kidnapped" whether it last or not, has very decent acting and is very entertaining.moreless
