  • The Second Outing.

    10
Picking up where the pilot the second episode of the NBC series Kidnapped left off. Knapp stays up all night and receives a call and the next morning he and Turner begin to investigate and feel that the kidnapping might have something to do with the past of Conrad. Also a package containing gruesome evidence that Leopold is not the only being targeted and sends Knapp and the FBI to Rhode Island in search of Aubrey. Despite many great episodes like this one Kidnapped did not last but will be coming to DVD in April.moreless
  • Leo continues to seek escape, while his sister is found to be missing as well. Most of the episode concerns everyone's search for Aubrey. Knapp receives a call from a previous nemesis, who seems to know all about the kidnapping from inside prison.moreless

This was even better than the pilot, and shows just how intricate and fascinating the show is going to be. Who is NOT involved? Even an old nemesis who Knapp apparently put in prison seems to be involved in the kidnapping. So, does it have something to do with the Cains and their secrets, or is it one of the FBI men with an agenda, or is it really all about Knapp?

I loved that we got a little bit of Knapp's past (went to a mental institution for awhile because of a botched case?). I loved that we see how troubled the family is and how Conrad Cain has burned some bridges.

Just too many people to suspect!

And I especially enjoyed the surprise at the end when Leo finally escapes, only to find it won't be as easy as he thought to get home.moreless
  • A lot happened, but nothing that i didn't already knew.

    7.0
I already guessed the kid was somewhere in Mexico. The FBI interferring again, and screwing things up.Totally Knew that was going to happen! It wasn't the first time and it won't be the last. The daughter hooking up with this lowlife was a surprise, to bad that storyline ended already. Don't know yet what the meaning is of that. The fact that Conrad was talking to his father wasn't really clear. And who's ear was that!!! No contact with the kidnappers this time, except for the ear piece. So a lot happened but i know nothing about what the demands really are now.moreless
  • Great second show better than plot!

    8.4
This is a great second show and was better than the plot as Knapp and King share a "friendly" adversial relatonship while Conrad's past comes back to haunt him in his son's kidnapping. Meanwhile Knapp tries to find Aubrey at Brown University. The show is unlike Vanished which involves political intrigue. This is more of a child being kidnapped.
