  • This is a top notch episode, especially for Doomsday fans.

This show aired close to the end of the pre-hiatus run and was the first episode I really noticed (really good timing there). Yes, back in the day, Doomsday was my favourite, which made this episode just that much easier to watch. He had a good part in the story (including going against the wishes of his team, in order to defeat the 'villain'), he got the girl AND he got to sing the song (arguably the better of the two songs he got to sing during the series). That song, "Under My Spell" does not appear on the album, unfortunately. They give a bit of insight into where the character thought he fit in the team - he wasn't the 'smart' or 'strong' one, nor was he a 'great human being', but he was the only one that could try to save the day. And, through perseverance, he did save the day (well it was a Saturday morning show, the odds of the good guys losing the battle were pretty slim), even impressing the bad guy. Each of the Kids had their own special abilities, which we got to see a lot of in the other episodes. This was one of the few times that the day was won without any of these abilities. It was nice to see.moreless
