Dr. Komyoji has almost completed work on his long time dream when a mysterious robot attacks and destroys his lab. Behind the plot is Professor Gill, the evil leader of DARK. Dr. Komyoji's daughter Mitsuko begins a search for her father. Meanwhile, Komyoji's dream, the android Kikaider begins learning about life with humans, eventually finding the destroyed laboratory he was born in. After encountering the robot that destroyed the lab, Kikaider meets Mitsuko, who tells him how to use his powers. She also tells him that his real name is Jiro. Jiro turns into Kikaider and destroys the evil robot.moreless
