Kill It, Cook It, Eat It

Show Summary

Kill It, Cook It, Eat It is the Current TV series that shows a group of participants and viewers where meat comes from, the old-fashioned way. Current TV was created in 2005 by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore and businessman Joel Hyatt. Current TV began with a unique style of programming, with "pods", short programs which were often created by viewers. Users submitted short pods on a variety of subject matter, and Current's website offered voting to see which would make it on-air. In 2009, Current changed to offer more traditional programming, switching from short pods to 30 minute block programming, though some elements still remain. Their program Kill It, Cook It, Eat It takes an eye-opening look at meat production, by taking six volunteers to a farm for an emotional journey where they raise and care for cattle, then slaughter them. After butchering the animal they cared for, will any of them have the stomach to eat the burgers? Tune in for the intense journey that will change perspectives forever on Current TV's Kill It, Cook It, Eat It.moreless
