This episode is a Christmas special of Kim possible. In the spirit of the season, Drakken, Shego, Ron, and the Possible family put their differences behind them to share Christmas in the Arctic ... of course, only after several action-packed battles and confrontations. At the end Ron explains the holiday spirit of Christmas. My favorite part of this episode is when we see the singing at the end. Another part of this episode that I like is when we see Drakken, Shego, Ron, and the Possible family put their differences behind them to share Christmas in the Arctic. I hope that you liked this episode very much.moreless

In this holiday episode, Kim and Ron are at the Possible residence putting up the tree and everything. But when Ron goes off to stop Drakken and Shego, he gets in alot of trouble, and Kim goes after him.

Wow, just wow, this episode is so great, it's hard to explain without making over a thousand words.

The plot, the music, the animation, everything was perfect about this episode, it's truly a very special episode!

I don't have a favorite part in this episode, because every part in this episode is great!!!

  • We get to see Ron, Shego, Drakken, and the Possibles in a whole different way!

    9.1
It starts out when Ron goes to the Possible's house for Christmas, I don't know why. Ron said that nothing is gonna bring him down, but when the chancelle Snowman Hank. He loses it big time! Kim tries to cheer him up by giving him his Hanukkah present, a video scrapbook. Kim has to leave for a while, so Ron feels very guilty because he gave her Bueno Nacho bueno bucks. So when Wade tells him that Drakken and Shego are on the lose, he ends up stopping their next plan.

Meanwhile, Shego brings the last part of his "take over the world" plan. She says that she is leaving him for her vacation. So ends up having to do his plan all by himself.

That's when Ron and Rufus are at his Lair, right before Ron got out of an awkward moment. Drakken is about to accually do his work, "correctly," Rufus pulls the plug. He gets mad at Ron, and they start to fight. In the middle of fight, they send off the escape pods and a self disstract button. So the end up going in to a trash bin, and go to the North Pole.

Kim and her family get back from caroling, Kim notices that Ron left. she gets worried and wonders why he is gone. In the middle of a Possible family thing, Wade call Kim to tell her that Ron's in big trouble. She doesn't want to leave, but she does want to go help Ron. So her family tells her that it is okay for her to leave.

She ends up going around the world to find him, but no luck. So her family pitches in to help her out. Jim and Tim fing out that they are at the North Pole, because they saw Shego there on Xreme Xmas.

The Possibles go to the North Pole to save Ron. She runs into Shego, who is here because Drakken did something nice for her. Kim finds Ron, and thanks him for what he has done. Soon, Drakken and Ron tell everybody about how they made up until New Years. So they all sing a song to celibrate how happy they are!moreless
  • Guaranteed to jingle your bells.

    9.3
It's Christmas in Middleton and the whole Possible family is celebrating. Ron stops by to add some cheer. Wade also sends holiday greetings, but there's some bad news, as well: Drakken plans a scheme of world domination. To make up for the many Bueno (Nacho) bucks of the past, Ron heads out to stop him as a last-minute gift to Kim.

Courtesy of writer Mark Palmer, "A Very Possible Christmas" is one of the most enjoyable (and quotable) episodes. Ron's efforts fail, however, landing he and Drakken in the North Pole.

Meanwhile, Kim learns of Ron's noble act and sets off in search of him with her family close behind.

This leads to an ending that's entertaining, heart-warming...and genuinely odd. Put it another way, "it's...it's...I don't know what it is".

Believe me. Yule like this episode a lot.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (8)

    • When Kim opens the front door after we hear Ron hit it, there is no doorknob on the outside of it (the side Ron slides down).

    • When Wade is informing Kim that Ron went to stop Drakken, there is one point where we see him on the screen but his voice is not filtered.

    • While trudging through the Amazon looking for Ron, Kim has the Kimmunicator strapped to her wrist, checking on the pods position, however in the scene immmediately after, while wading through the water, it's no longer on her wrist.

    • When the new Kimmunicator is delivered, it's originally in a box, judging by the package. But Kim tears away the brown paper to reveal the Kimmunicator, without opening any box. Originally the package was bigger than the 'municator, so where'd the box go?

    • When Drakken says "It's just not the same when I rant to myself" the circles under his eyes aren't filled in.

    • Watch when Ron jumps up onto the wall of Drakken's fortress. Originally, it looks like he goes up a good 6 feet or so. But when it shows him full-length again, after the door swings open, it looks like he's just a few inches off the ground.

    • Wade said the Kimmunicator was destroyed in the stratosphere...but it wasn't...it was destroyed when Drakken stepped on it, BEFORE the liftoff even occured!

    • There's a small mistake in this episode's themesong opener. During the line "You can't stop me" (visual: surrounded by the Bebe robots), Kim's hair has a lighter outline to it, which it loses a second later.

  • QUOTES (9)

    • Delivery Man: Package for Kim Possible.
Kim: That's me. Thank you. Merry Christmas
Delivery Man: It would be if I didn't have to work.

    • Ron: Thanks for the ride, Captain Louis.
Captain Louis: It's the least I can do after you saved this old tub from sinking. Hold on, Kim Possible saved my tub from sinking.
Ron: Well, that's right, and I'm always there. You know, Kim and...
Captain Louis: There was a fellow with her busting my radio, used my navigational charge for a napkin. What was his name? Ron something.
Ron: Yes, yes, yes, Ron Something. Sadly, uh, Mr. Something didn't work out. We had to let him go. So, I'll see ya, see ya!

    • Drakken: (to Ron) How's that, Mr. Smarty Boots?

    • Ron: (calling) Yes, information? I'd like the number for nine-one-one, immediately please!

    • Ron: Dude, that's a cell phone!
Drakken: Yes, It should leave quite a welt.
Ron: Not for throwing, for calling! Calling for help!

    • Drakken: To all people, far and near. . .
Drakken & Ron: Snowman Hank brought holiday cheer.
Kim: This is. . . this is. . . I don't know what this is.

    • Nana: Isn't that Kimberly Anne's arch foe?
      Dr. Possible: 'Tis the season.

    • Wade: Then who's going to stop Drakken?
      Ron: Me.
      Wade: Uh-oh...
      Rufus: Uh-oh!

    • Dr Drakken: I can tell you this, in the little TV in my heart, Snowman Hank will play forever.

    • Animation Production by: Rough Draft Korea Co., Ltd
"A Ringlin' Jinglin' Christmas": Written and Arranged by Randy Petersen and Kevin Quinn

  • ALLUSIONS (13)

    • A Christmas Carol

If you look closely, the sign that is outside Dr. Drakken's hideout says "Bah Humbug", a sentence used often by Ebaneezer Scrooge, the main character in Charles Dickens book A Christmas Carol.

    • A Charlie Brown Christmas:

Drakken: All I want is what's coming to me. All I want is my fair share.

These are the exact words Lucy said to Charlie Brown in the Charlie Brown special A Charlie Brown Christmas.

    • A Nightmare Before Christmas:

The shot of Ron and Dr. Drakken after they land on earth again has them on top of a peculiar cliff. This cliff resembles the same shape as the one Jack Skeleton stands on in A Nightmare Before Christmas.

    • Xtreme Xmas:

This is the title of an episode of Lizzie McGuire.

    • A Simple Plan:

When Kim looks into the third escape pod, a flock of crows fly out at her. This scene is similar to one from the movie A Simple Plan where Bill Paxton opens the door of a crashed airplane, only to have a flock of crows fly out and attack him. Gary Cole (The voice of Mr. Dr. Possible) also had a role in the movie as the dead pilot's brother.

    • Star Wars:

The shot of Ron and Rufus in the garbage escape pod, looking out at the exploding Drak Force 1, is similar to C3-PO and R2-D2 looking out at a Star Destroyer and the Rebel Blockade Runner that they recently escaped from, in Star Wars: Episode IV. The pods in both Star Wars and KP also show a resemblance.

    • Jim/Tim: We just re-routed the Middleton power grid... ... so we wouldn't blow out the whole town like last year

A reference to the National Lampoon film Christmas Vacation where the over-zealous Clark Grizwold decorates his home with 25,000 lights, which results in blacking out the entire town.

    • Ron: "Land, ho!"

      Drakken: "No kidding."

In Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, when Hermey the elf and company are on the iceberg and they come to land, Yukon (the miner) yells "Land, ho!" and Hermey responds "No kidding".

    • Drakken: "All I want is what's coming to me. All I want is my fair share!"

When Drakken pouts and says this, it's a reference to A Charlie Brown Christmas. Charlie Brown's little sister Sally utters roughly the same line when Charlie Brown comments on her letter to Santa requesting "10's and 20's".

    • Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer:

Snowman Hank is very similar to the narrator snowman in the claymation Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

    • Drakken's Sign: Bah Humbug:

Drakken's sign quotes Ebenezer Scrooge's catch-phrase from the Dicken's classic "A Christmas Carol".

    • Drakken: They'll be drinking eggnog, singing carols, eating roast beast, playing with hob nobbles....

Dr. Drakken's rant includes some verses from the Dr. Seuss classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas

    • Ron: Information, can you get me the number for 911, immediately please!

This is a dig at the famous Simpsons quote where Homer yells "What's the number for 911?" Also, 911 is a common emergency number in the USA.
