While trying to stop Dr. Drakken, Kim gets into a fight with Shego in which they accidentally get a microchip attached to each of them that can control their emotions. However, when Ron accidentally picks up the control device instead of Kim's communicator, he thinks it's a game and he inadvertently controls Kim and Shego's moods, in which he puts on romance mode before he and Kim go to school. Ron must now deal with Kim's sudden advances towards him while trying to determine what he should do about the situation, all the while Drakken is dealing with a suddenly love-stricken Shego.moreless

  • My all-time favorite episode so far.

I absolutely loved this episode, for many reasons, the top reason being that the dialogue during the pivotal kiss scene had me guffawing throughout the entire scene. I had checked the scene script out on this site beforehand, so when I finally got to see it, at 12:30 am on June 29, I was lip-synching the entire scene...well, almost. Plus, who can forget the little black dress? *wolf whistle* Holy jeez, watch out there, Ron. That moodulator will make people do some crazy things. Plus, when Drakken & Ron are inside the float, their little exchange was priceless, I say. All in all, thus far, this is my favorite episode in the entire series.moreless

  • Kim and Shego get controlled by machine that affects their mood.

This episodes was really important out of all the episodes in Kim Possible. Cause it shows that Kim, and Shego are being controlled by something that affects their mood, giving the foil character a chance to help them out anyway they can....But i don't know for Drakken's cast because he seemed really clueless. As for Ron, he wanted to help her, and also giving us some feelings about Kim. making this episode very specialmoreless

  • Kim and Shego have emotion-controlling chips on their necks. Now Drakken must deal with Shego's wild mood swings while Ron's best friend starts to crush on him. Will Ron accept Kim's affections, or will he wish to remain "Just Friends" forever?moreless

This episode was quite an odd one. For a long time, I thought Kim and Ron should get together, but after I saw this episode, those ideas vanished. Then I saw "So The Drama", and I was like "Can't Ron make up his mind?" This episode did show alot of things to look forward to in season four. Kim's mother seems to have noticed something between the two for a long time. I think Kim's father will be okay with this as well, but that doesn't mean he won't threaten to send Ron to the other side of the solar system if he doesn't have Kim home on time.moreless

This is one of my favorite episodes of Kim Possible. My favorite scene is the ending scene where Kim and Shego are chasing Ron and Drakken at the fair. It was funny to see Drakken and Ron fight over the hiding spot in the float. I also liked the part where the scientist is telling Ron what the microchip does and Ron tells him that he thought it was a game and it was no wonder he couldn't win. Duh! I also liked the part where Shego was crying because she 'broke a nail' and the part where Drakken asked her if he forgot her birthday. To make things simpler, I loved the whole episode.moreless

First of all let me say that I have nothing but the greatest respect for the Kim/Ron (K/R) and Drakken/Shego (D/S) ships. They are both highly believable when done right, but unfortunately none of that is evident in this episode.

It's almost as if the writers were screwing with us, saying that the only way these people would end up in a dating relationship is if they were incredibly Out-of-Character (OOC). That's not the right way to do it, and it shows. I understand that the writers wanted to keep us guessing until "So the Drama" (StD) aired, but did they have to make us cringe when we should have cheered? Seriously, have we EVER seen Kim cry outside of this episode and "A Very Possible Christmas?" It's just not like her. Hell, it doesn't even SOUND like her. I thought they had changed voice actors the first time I saw this. And the "crushing sheep" that Kim turns into as a result of the Moodulator is completely ridiculous and a total cop-out on the part of the writers. The up-frontness is in-character, but the flirtaciousness and batting of eyelashes is not. It's awk-weird. It's as though the writers were trying to say that Kim would have to be under the influence of some external device (or something else) to even be halfway interested in pursuing Ron. I'm not saying that they don't acknowledge that the feelings are there, but the way they go about it is so irreverent it's not even funny.

And don't even get me started on Shego. First of all, the ponytail doesn't work on either Kim or Shego, and second of all, while I support the D/S ship, I have the same complaint about it in this episode as I do about the K/R ship. In my opinion, a relationship is something to be taken seriously, so it really ticks me off whenever I see something like this. Anger was the only emotion that felt in-character for Shego (granted, it's the one she displays the most often), and all the others were just lame attempts on the part of the writers to be funny. And while I admit that I was laughing hysterically at "I like kissy-face!" that was just to mask the pain. It's just not the way it should be done.

Now, some of you might be saying, "But they're supposed to be OOC because it's funny," which may be true, but they could have had a very touching episode and still been funny. However, they opted for all of the latter and none of the former, and as a result, this episode is just painful to watch.

Characters should be, well, in-character if they are going to get into a relationship. That's just the way I prefer it. I have to wonder if the writers will explore the D/S ship in Season 4. Hopefully they'll redeem themselves like they did with Kim and Ron in StD.moreless
