This episode is about mothers day. Kim possible takes her mom on a mission and Drakken takes his mom for an evil scheme that was Kim's mission to stop it. in other words Moms Possible and Lipsky share a day in the life of their kids as both are dragged into the Kim-Drakken (aka Drew Lipsky) conflict on their special holiday. In other new Ron Stopable has to spend his day cleaning the garage when he meets an old enemy, a garden gnome. My favorite part of this episode was to see Ron's old enemy. Another thing that I liked about this episode is when we see how Kim and her mom saved the day. My lastly favorite part of this episode was when we see how the mom of Drakken is like. It was really weird to see that Drakkens mom is so friendly and polite.moreless

  • Momma said there'd be days like this...

    "Poor"
Kim promised to spend the whole day with her mother, but a mission comes up. Drakken is after an experiment which is being transported by train. Unfortunately, Ron is stuck cleaning out his garage (it's his mother's present), so guess who has to accompany Kim?

This is somewhat similar to "Bad Boy" in that a decent idea gets buried in filler. Now, don't get me wrong: it's nice to see the mothers of Team Possible and there's a great gag referencing "Tetris". Unfortunately, the strengths are outweighed by the weaknesses: the action plot becomes dull after a while, and the whole 'Ron is afraid of ________' spiel (this time involving a garden gnome) just smacks of lazy writing (as always).

But these are perfectly forgivable in light of the episode's biggest debit: Mama Lipsky. Some people might find her funny, but I feel that her overly doting nature and naivete at her son's true intentions suck out what little life the episode has. For a much funnier character voiced by Estelle Harris, try Mrs. Potato Head in "Toy Story 2" or Lula on "Dave the Barbarian".

Watching "Mother's Day" is not the best way to spend Mother's Day.moreless

    • (Drakken is about to use a sound wave ray) Mrs. Lipsky: What is that, Drew? Drakken: Uh. . . this is for on-the-street! Shego: And where would the street be? Drakken: (Nervous) Zip the lip, Shego. . . Edit

    • Talk Radio: In this episode, Drakken, whose real name is Drew Lipsky, poses as a talk-radio doctor. That's awfully close to Dr. Drew Pinsky, a real-life talk-radio doctor (on shows like "Loveline"). Edit
