  • I didn't like this one...

    "Abysmal"
Drakken accidentally makes his little dog into a giant and tries to take over area 51. First, Kim Possible going into the realm of aliens and superstition . . . bad idea. Second, the idea of a giant dog being able to best brute military force . . . unrealistic. Third, the idea of a giant dog . . . named Commadore Puddles . . . do I have to say more? I just thought this was a really stupid episode with a stupid story and it didn't really have anything in it that I liked. So, overall, a very bad episode.moreless

Drakken and Shego plan to break into Area 51 and make off with a UFO. Using a shrink ray, he intends to sneak in and steal it. Unfortunately, the paper training-impaired Commodore Puddles gets a little too close to the machine. Instead of shrinking, the canine grows to enormous size. The army tries to stop the villains and their giant attack dog, but to no avail. Rufus soon gets an idea, however...

Even with Ron pursuing a filmmaking career and R. Lee Ermey as General Simms, this episode is boring, the titular fight included. And expanding on that final gag (emphasis on 'gag') is only going to make me angry.

Definitely keep this episode under wraps.moreless
  • This episode is about the revieling of area 51 and Rufus vs Commodore Puddles.

All hope for Area 51 seems lost, though Kim believes she has what it takes to teach the dog a few new tricks which means sabotage. My favorite part of this episode is when we see the boss of area 51 saying what area 51 is about.moreless
  • Cute, but in a weird way!

Ron is trying to make a movie, but when a mission comes up, he decides to tape everything he sees. Meanwhile, Drakken gets a poddle named Commodore Puddles. While trying to complete his latest plan, his dog keeps on bothering him. But Kim and Ron come to save the day, but Ron keeps them on hold because he was trying to film the fight! In the middle of fight, Rufus and Puddles start to fight, then Puddles pushes Rufus into the control for the shrink ray. But instead of shinking, he grows, because he did 'something' to the shink ray! Drakken thinks up a new plan, and they will go to Area 51 with the the new BIG Puddles. Kim and Ron try to stop them, but fail! Until Rufus gets as big as Puddles. Then Puddles and Rufus continue their fight! Kim gets free, and starts to fight with Shego, Ron tapes the entire thing while Drakken leaves to find what he came for! He gets a spaceship, while the aleins are still in it, Shego gets thrown in the dog cage along with the gaint dog, and everything is almost back to normal. Back at Middleton, Ron present his movie, but when he is told that it might give off to much information, it gets replace with a home movie.moreless

    • If you watch closely, when Commodore Puddles drops Kim, her right shoe comes off. In the next shot, it shows that her left foot is bear instead of her right.

    • Ron: That would be the coolest shot ever... if it weren't for the 2000 ton poodle that has been unleashed into an unsuspecting world.

    • Kim: There's this monster poodle- Soldier: Name? Kim: Commodore Puddles. Soldier: Your name. Kim: Oh, uh Kim Possible.

    • (Rufus stalks the miniature city, snorting and growling, grabs a taco and starts munching on it) Ron: Cut! Rufus, you can't keep breaking character like that! (sigh) I'm gonna have to recast ya, buddy.

    • Drakken: I will soon be the size of a microscopic particle! So watch where you step, okay?

    • Kim: Flying saucers! Ron: Alien technology! Gen. Simms: Yada, yada. Kim: But that means all the rumors are true. Gen. Simms: Every last one of them. We've implemented a double-negative cover story. We make sure only to leak out information that is one-hundred percent accurate. Ron: But then it's not really secret! Gen. Simms: That's exactly what we want you to believe.

    • Gen. Simms: I'm initiating the base's self-destruct system. The secrets contained in Area 51 must never be exposed! Ron: What secrets? Everybody knows already!

    • Kim: Thanks for the lift, Special Agent Smith and Special Agent Smith. Smith #1: Dont mention it. The way you helped us with that security breach. . . Kim: No big, I just. . . Smith #2: No, seriously. Don't mention it.

    • Agent 1: We couldn't allow the public to see the Area 51 footage. Agent 2: So we switched it with one of your home movies. Ron: Home movies? Which one? (cut to Ron in his early years) Young Ron: I make a potty! Kim: Ron's big day? Ron: Ron's big day.

    • Drakken: Commodore Puddles, not now, can't you see Daddy's trying to put the finishing touches on his shrink ray? Shego: He needs to go out. Drakken: He was just out ten minutes ago. Shego: Now, what did we agree on? Drakken: (sigh) If I wanted a dog I had to promise to take care of him.

    • Drakken: No fair! I call cheatsies!

  • ALLUSIONS (8)

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • Watership Down: When Rufus enters for the first time as a giant and he raises his nose to the sky it is very similar to the VHS cover of the 1978 animated movie Watership Down.

    • Independence Day: The lab, the floating saucers and the aliens in tubes are very much like the ones in movie Independence Day.

    • B Movies: The entirety of this episode is a satirical homage to the classic B-movie classics of enlarged animals, including, but not limited to: Attack of the Crab Monsters (1957), Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959), The Giant Gila Monster (1959), The Killer Shrews (1959), and The Giant Spider Invasion (1975).

    • Kim: "Agent Smith..." The two Agent Smiths wear similar clothes to The Matrix's Agent Smith.

    • Jurassic Park: The vibrations in the glass of water are a reference to a scene in Jurrasic Park when two kids in a jeep see vibrations in a glass of water that indicates that the T-Rex is coming.

    • Jurassic Park: The Lost World: A nice, quick homage to the scene in Jurassic Park: The Lost World where a T-Rex is unleashed in downtown LA and, at one point, begins lapping up water from a swimming pool.

    • The Empire Strikes Back: Kim tying up Commodore Puddles' legs with her grappler cable, causing him to fall, is a reference to The Empire Strikes Back; Luke and his co-pilot fire their grappler cables from their Snow Speeder to entangle the legs of an AT-AT, thus tripping the large machine and forcing it into the snow.

    • Honey I Blew Up the Kids: The shrink ray switching gears and making things larger is reminiscent of Disney's Honey I Blew Up the Kids, the 1992 sequel to Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
