  • Serious evil villain mullet action going on in the installment... seriously!

Overall, a fun episode. Motor Ed, who was once the most well-regarded mechanical engineer in the world before being fired from his top secret government lab for not adhering to its dress code, provides a refreshing reprieve from the usual take-over-the-world supervillain. Of the same ilk as Duff Killigan (who only wants to create the world's biggest golf course), Motor Ed just wants to create the fastest, most tricked-out set of wheels, so he can cruise in style and let his mullet blow free in the wind with a motor babe by his side while he plays an occasional riff on his air guitar. Is that so wrong? And yet, "Red", his pseudonym for KP, is always getting in his way. Seriously. I mean, if people just left him alone, what harm would he do?

On a side note -- it was interesting to see that the cousins (Drakken and Motor Ed) were both sporting similar hair styles. Motor Ed (to Drakken): "I just noticed you've got a baby mullet back there. Set it free, brother, set it free."

    Hmmm, makes you wonder....moreless

In this episode, Ron is spending more time with Felix then with Kim. Kim gets very jealous quickly, she tries not to let it show. But when Monique says to jion in with them, Ron and Felix can tell that she wants to be with Ron more.
Meanwhil, Drakken is building a Doom-V, when his mom wants him to spend some time with his cousin, Motor Ed. Because she thinks that Drakken would be a "positive rolemodel" for Ed. Ed devolps a crush on Shego, she blask him a few times when he got on her bad side. But, Drakken and Ed team up and get back at Felix by taking his wheelchair. So thats when they meet up with Kim, Felix, and Ron. They do steel his wheelchair, with the new and improved Doom-V, easily. Kim and Shego think that they have sucken to a new low when they did that.
Towards the end of it all, they find out that Drakken and Motor Ed have copied Felix's wheelcair to the advanced Doom-V. Felix says that is beyond bad news. When Kim, Ron, and Felix catch to Drakken, Shego, and Motor Ed, they are conered, little do the villains know that they a controller that did sometime to Felix's chair eariler. So Kim hits random buttons, and defeats the bad guys.moreless

While not my favorite it was still a good episode. I enjoyed the Ghosts 'n Goblins-esq reference in the Zombie Mayhem game Ron and Felix played. I also laughed at Kim's enjoyment at figuiring out how to play the game, "Jump, kick! Jump, kick!"

Oddly enough too I didn't find the over-use of the word "seriously" to be annoying. However, with Monique and her constant use of acronyms I kind of did. Though that's mainly because I've actually known people who do that on a daily basis.

So yeah, you should totally check this episode out. Seriously.moreless

My favorite villain (Shego) and my second favorite villain (Motor Ed) in the same episode! Oh, and Drakken was there to. It's the villains that make "Steal Wheels" watch-able. We find out the Ed is Drakken's cousin and he has a major crush on Shego. Watching these three interact was fun because they all had good chemistry. And Motor Ed delivered two of my favorite lines in the entire series; "Whoa, babes don't drive, dudes drive, seriously." And "Don't make a babe angry when she's driving, it only makes it worse. Her driving I mean." John DiMaggio did a great job voicing both Ed and Drakken, and Nicole Sullivan as Shego was her usual sarcastic self. However she did feel slightly out of character, when they stole Felix's wheelchair. Why would this super bad chick all of a sudden care about that? Speaking of that, the heroes both seemed out of character as well. It was hard to watch Kim repeatedly embarrass herself; apparently Felix just has that affect on her. Plus, it was strange on Ron kept blowing Kim off. The third act is the best, filled with great action, and the animation was well done. Despite some character inconsistencies, "Steal Wheels" was a good watch.moreless
