Kim and Ron end up at Global Justice. Dr. Director has some interesting news for them: the scientists believe that Ron is responsible for the success of their missions. Kim is shocked by this (enough to disrupt the opening credits!), while it gives Ron a rather...high opinion of himself. Meanwhile, an inscrutable foe named Gemini seeks to obtain this supposed 'Ron factor' for himself.

While I'm not too crazy about Ron getting full of himself, I have to admit that, in light of his more recent exploits, I kind of miss it. His obliviousness to the danger that Gemini puts him through is amusing, as is the ultimate link between the new enemy and Dr. Director.

Getting back to Gemini, it's a real pity that this wonderful, Bond-inspired foe never appeared again. One would think that the running gag of Gemini punishing his subordinates when they fail would wear thin, but throughout the episode, "...it's still fresh!"

    This is a fine episode.moreless
  • This episode is about the Ron factor.

When Dr. Director at Global Justice decides that it's the "Ron-ness" that's Kim's secret to success. The studies of Ron is now called the Ron factor. Unfortunately, this means being stolen by the lackey-intolerant Gemini, Dr. Director's older twin. Global Justice, Kim, and Rufus take on Gemini's fist of fury (and Pepe the neurotic Chihuahua) to recover the Ron Factor. This episode reviled that Dr. Director (girl) has an evil twin brother, Gemini (boy). My favorite part of this episode is when we see Dr. Director's brother and when we see the factor after the Ron factor ( the Rufus factor ).moreless
  • AN alright episode, but, nobody knows what kind of factor it REALLY IS...

THe Ron Factor, in production code order, is the premiere of Season Two. Like The_Huntsman, I too felt this episode wasnt one of Kim Possible's best work.

The animation was still the same as from Season One and I am grateful for that because this show has a nice animation, however I feel Monique should have kept the dot-eyes look.

Anyway, as it goes, Gemini was introduced in this episode and he was potrayed tremendously. I am rather disappointed by the fact he doesnt appear often because I felt his villany was truely great and underappreciated. Dr. Director was also brilliant in the episode but I just felt the praternal twin thing was farfetched, although good....

overall, an alright episode because there was not much of Drakken and Shego vs. Wade and Kim to ruin the moment of this unique episode, although it could have been better; what happened to Pepe? and the others, that is what we the fans must know...moreless

    ADD TRIVIA
    • Affter Gemini fired Delta, he still was in the W.W.E.E. lair.

    • Coloration Goof: When Kim and Monique are shopping (just before Ron struts through), Monique pulls a green shirt from a setup of yellow shirts.

    • Why didn't Rufus just bite Gemini's other hand? I mean even though he's only a naked mole-rat, he's been smart enough to speak and understand Ron and do lots more.

    • When Ron says "Sheldon?" the cuffs on his wrists (the ones strapping him to the chair) disappear.

    • Nitpick: As Kim falls from the helicopter, why didn't she deploy her parachute/jetpack from the backpack? Granted, Dr. Director came to her rescue in the plane, but we didn't know DD was there...and it would have made for a softer landing.

    • The lines on Gemini's gauntlet appear and disappear at random throughout the episode.

    • As Ron leaps down from Gemini's control panel, the bottom of his shirt is again red (which it remains for the rest of the shot).

    • After Kim and Dr. Director blast through the door, the fire that was burning disappears without a trace.

    • During the main title (and more specifically the vault shot from "Animal Attraction"), Kim doesn't have the lines drawn in her hair.

    ADD QUOTES
    • Dr. Director: (To Kim) You get Ron. I'll deal with him. (To Gemini) You just can't let me be can you, SHELDON?! Ron: Sheldon? Gemini: The name is "Gemini"! And this has nothing to do with you, Betty! Kim: (Throwing a guy over her) Betty?

    • Gemini: Well, baby sister, let's see what Mom recalls. Dr. Director: You're the baby, dragging MOM into this. Gemini: Fine. Fine! We'll settle this like grown-ups. (starts firing at Dr. Director) Kim: Oh, that's mature.

    • Ron: Is that a Greek letter? Delta: You know of -- ? Ron: Fraternity boy, huh? Toga! Toga! Toga!

    • Monique: If Factor Boy gets a little confidence from this, no foul, right? Ron: Kimbo! The Ron Factor's movin' on to Bueno Nacho. (to Monique) Girlfriend! Nice top...for my grandma! Rufus: Ah! Ba-dum-dum! Monique: Kim, do what you gotta do, girl.

    • Ron: Without the Ron Factor, you're just another freak-fighting cheerleader with a website.

    • Gemini: Agent Beta, report. Beta: It's Global Justice, sir. (Pepe begins to bark) Gemini: (to Pepe) Sorry, Pepe. Agent Beta said those most hated words. Agent Beta: Global Justice? (Pepe begins to bark again)

    • Gemini: Who's that? Ron: Kim Possible. This is where she saves me and we beat you bad! It's a Ron Factor thing. (Gemini zaps Kim, making her fall off) Ron: Kim! Gemini: That's a bad guy thing.

    • Ron: You obviously don't know who you're dealing with, pal! Gemini: Ron Stoppable. Ron: Okay...points for you.

    • Gemini (capturing Ron at Bueno Nacho): I'll take him to go!

    • Gemini: You have failed me for the last time. Agent Beta: But I just started on Tuesday!

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (12)

    ADD ALLUSIONS
    • Gemini: You have failed me for the last time. This is a direct quote from Ernst Stavro Blofeld, leader of SPECTRE and James Bond's arch-nemesis.

    • Name: Gemini: It's interesting that Dr. Director's evil (fraternal) twin is named Gemini, seeing as a constellation of the same name is composed of a pair of twins.

    • Moonraker: Sheldon "Gemini" Director sort of resembles the Bond villain Hugo Drax from the 1979 Bond movie "Moonraker".

    • The Incredibles: One of Gemini's hands is electrical just like Syndrome's electrifying hands from the 2004 movie, 'The Incredibles'.

    • Austin Powers: Pepe is a lot like Dr. Evil's pet cat, Mr. Flufums, from Austin Powers.

    • Gemini: "You have failed me for the last time." This is a reference to The Empire Strikes Back. An officer who had repeatedly disappointed Darth Vader suddenly found himself being choked by Vader's use of the Force, as Vader informed him, "You have failed me for the last time."

    • SHIELD The backdrop of the entire episode bears a resemblence to Marvel Comics' James Bond style comic "Nick Fury, Agent of SHIELD". Nick Fury, an eyepatch-wearing secret agent, is head of SHIELD, an international spy organization that fights evil wherever it occurs. Among his many opponents is his evil twin brother, who uses the Zodiac-inspired codename of "Scorpio".

    • Gemini: Come with me, Ron Stoppable. You will be my Agent Alpha. Together, we can crush Global Justice!
Based on Darth Vader's offer to Luke in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.

    • none: none
How can you NOT see Dr. Evil in this plot? Hairless pet (Dr. Evil's cat, G.'s dog), chairs that dispose of failures, sibling to a good guy (remember Goldmember?), the list goes on.

    • none: Dr. Director moves the pictures around and they enlarge
This scene is a replica of the 2002 hit movie "Minority Report", in which police can foresee crimes before they happen.

    • Ron: Toga! Toga! Toga!
Ron's cries of "Toga! Toga! Toga!" when he thinks that the Henchman is part of a fraternity could be reference to a scene in *Animal House* (the frat brothers decide to have a toga party and one of them [Bluto] starts a chant "Toga! Toga! Toga!".) To go even further, the greek letter on the Henchman's shirt is Delta, which is the name of the house that threw said party.

    • none: none
Gemini's submersible lair is very similar to Stromberg's Atlantis (seen in "The Spy Who Loved Me"), which James Bond also reaches by jetski.
