Caitlyn and Julian leave for the weekend. She takes him unknowingly to his family's ancestral home. It is also the scene of one of his most brutal executions. Archon had previously ordered Julian to slay a coven of Bruja living in an old mission, but the Bruja were innocent of the crimes they were accused of and when they find out that Julian is back they try for their revenge.
Frank finally gets a clue and finds out that his partner Sonny is one of the Kindred, although it's a shame we will never find out what the ramifications of his sudden knowledge will have for the partner. Will the Masquerade be shattered forever??
Probably the best episode of the series which is good, because if it had gone out on a bad note it wouldn't have as big of a cult following as it does.moreless

Caitlin takes Julian out of the city, the first time he has left for seven years, to a cabin in the woods. The cabin is near to the town where Julian's family came from. Is this by design or just an accident? An old Brujah clan still survives there, a clan Julian nearly wiped out under orders from Archon. They want revenge on them both and mean to take advantage of the current situation to make sure they get it.moreless

At the mansion when Daedalus finds Archon on the floor, he picks him up and helps him into a chair. As the camera follows their movement upwards when they are rising from the floor, there is a boom mic that comes into view, at the top of the screen.
