Another great episode in this great season! Season 7 is off to a fantastic start with three solid episodes in a row. Bobby falls for yet another Laotian, this time Connie's cousin, Tid Pao. The episode is pretty funny and has a good plot, which shows that despite being broken up for quite a while now, Connie still has some feelings towards Bobby. I also really like Hank and the gang having to constantly clean up the fence. They always make everything seem way worse than it is, and it's what makes the characters loveable. Overall a great episode!moreless

tid pao, connie's cousin, comes to visit, and bobby starts liking her, and this makes connie jealous. bobby and tid are science fair partners, but what will happen when tid bails and connie tells bobby that their project turns out to be a meth lab? will bobby get in trouble?

good episode and probably one of my favorites from season seven of the series. tid was an OK character, it does not really make me sad that she never returned (At least I'm assuming she never did, i haven't seen all of the later episodes). Overall grade- a B+ or somoreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Bobby: No, you can't, it's too sweet, you'll get diarrhea, I sneezed in it!

    • Connie: Bobby, you're not making candy! Didn't you watch that MTV special with Andy Dick? You're making -- meth amphetamine! You know, crystal meth? Ice? Crank?
Bobby: Big deal, I made a crank machine. I'll just change the sign to "How a crank is made."

    • Hank: I can understand wanting propane so bad you could steal it, but to actually go through with it...

    • Kahn: I swear to your father I keep you out of trouble, and now you get mixed up with Bobby Hill! What is it with you beautiful Asian girls and that stupid redneck boy? Why so self-destructive? Low self-esteem?

    • Joseph: Tell her I've always been into her, and that I always stare at her, not because I'm creepy, but because I'm deep.

    • Dale: Society's going to hell in a handbasket. I blame the media blamers.

  • NOTES (1)

    • When this episode was originally aired, there was a scene where Tid Pao calls Bobby a "Pigf*****"(with the swear word edited out). When the episode aired in syndication it was changed to "Pig Farmer".

  • ALLUSIONS (3)

    • It is possible Bobby's suggestion of calling the candy "Bobby Roots" is a reference to Babe Ruth candy bars.

    • Tid Pao: Got Boogs?

When Tid Pao puts the finger in the cow's nose it is a reference to the slogan for milk, "Got Milk?"

    • The title of this episode is an allusion to the line "Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do?" from the song "Bad Boys" by Inner Circle, which is used as the theme song for Cops, another Fox show.
