Does anyone even want there to be a king of the hill movie created? Sure after all these years there's probably enough episodes to make a movie, and after all those episodes what would the movie be about...just like the simpsons, still i think a king of the hill movie would be interesting. Does anyone else? If there were a koth movie what would you want to happen?

If this were to happen, which is very, very unlikely, it would absolutely have to be animated. I didn't see the Simpsons movie because I completely stopped watching them in 2005 because I couldn't take it anymore, and I'm guess a movie would just open up KOTH to drop some profanity, which is so not the flow of the show. As for what to happen, I don't know, but I know what I wouldn't want to happen.

Many would watch it, but none would enjoy it. Most KotH two parters aren't even enjoyable, much less a whole two hours.

I would watch it. Mike Judge made a "Beavis and Butthead" movie, and I feel like King of the Hill has a more realisitic feel, so it already has more of a feel for the makings of a theatrical feature. As for the plot of a movie, it seems like they've already covered every possible storyline within the show...But who knows? The writers could surprise us.

How about a live-action movie? KOTH is realistic enough for it to happen. Here would be the cast....

    Director-Mike Judge

    Hank-Billy Bob Thorton

    Peggy-Tina Fey

    Dale-Steve Buscemi

    Bill-John C. Reilly

    Boomhauer-Edward Norton

    Luanne-Brittany Murphy

Cotton-Joe Pesci(He's short, old, and angry, add some makeup and we have Cotton)

    Buck Strickland-Lewis Black

How about have Brendan Fraser play Hank? Both are tall, brown haired, broad shouldered..... Just make Brendan put on glasses and talk with a Texan accent and we have Hank.

Part of what makes KOTH work is that it's a cartoon grounded in reality; when you remove the animation aspect, what's left to enjoy? Besides, live-action movies based on old cartoons have never worked (The Flintstones, Garfield, any Dr. Seuss book, and so forth).

Um... you know those Ninja Turtles movies came out nearly 20 years ago, right?
