I'd say it's a show aimed at adults but friendly enough for teens and kids. Like "Taxi" or "Frasier".

I don't think it's an "adult show", although the style of humour does skew towards a slightly older audience (in comparison to basically every other animated show these days).

My 6-year old brother and disable sister love the show as well as The Simpsons and Futurama and I'm glad I introduced to such a wonderful series.

Often they sit through marathons of episodes on DVD, but I tend to skip any episodes that have been rated M here (which is similar to TV-14 or the BBFC's 12 rating), which include...

    Square Peg
    Shins of the Father
    High Anxiety (Part Two)
    Peggy's Magic Sex Feet

I don't think it would be appropriate if my brother randomly ran about innocently yelling out parts of the human anatomy or started learning about what drugs are at his age lol.

You're thinking of "Cheers". Sam Malone only made one appearance on "Frasier".

You have your shows mixed up, but I still get your point. Nonetheless, that is awfully prudish of you.

Though there are a few episodes that would probably be inappropriate for a younger audience (like the ones mentioned above), I would say KOTH is relatively safe for family viewing. Then again, you're talking to a guy that grates his teeth at anything on Nickelodeon or The Disney Channel...

Nope, just the one. They did have three episodes with Diane, though.

Wait, when did this become a "Cheers" thread?

I think so, especially compared to stuff like Family Guy and South Park, which isn't so. I'm happy to let my seven year old sister watch it (I also let her watch Simpsons and Family Guy as long as she promises to never repeat anything they say to our parents). But it's the parents or responsible person's responsibility to make sure they don't say or do stupid stuff, no-one elses.

I watched the series premiere when I was 12, and look how I turned out. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a lot to think about...
