I first discovered KOTH about 7 years ago when I moved to Texas. All the shows are funny to me. Thinking about the funniest , the one that came to mind was when Peggy was recovering from her skydiving accident with Cotton as her therapist and she punches him in the nose with that little trickle of blood coming out, the look on his face was priceless.

Just wondering, anybody catch that Peggy had two different Mom's that looked nothing alike?

I think my favorite moment of the series is from Season 9, A Rover Runs Through It, where Peggy returns to Montana in hopes of reconciling with her mother, and Hank brings Bobby, who is spending all his time with a walkman, and whom Hank hopes to enlighten. It doesnt go well with Peggys mother and by the end of the episode, their relationship hasnt improved, but Bobby meets a horse and actually bonds with it. My favorite moment comes when Peggy is complaining about her mother and asks, "Why did we come here anyway?" And Hank points to Bobby, who is riding a horse, and says, "Thats why." I love that scene because Bobby can be kind of annoying sometimes, but other times he can do something to suprise you. Its a very sweet moment and a good reminder of what KOTH can do at its best. What a shame its going off and the way Fox treats it is just an insult, while they continue to pander to the aging(and no longer funny) The Simpsons.

It's been mentioned numerous times on the board. Of course, I don't expect newbies to skim through hundreds of posts.

Every second of "Escape from Party Island"; Hank with a bunch of old ladies and partying teens is classic.

I absolutely love the episode with the female exterminator. It's so sweet and it just makes me love Dale even more.

Some good lines from various episodes:

Peggy: You don't want me, you want other women! Younger, equally pretty, women!

Bill: Oh no, I lost the ring!
Hank: That wasn't the ring, that was a piece of tinfoil we gave you to make you feel important
    Bill: Oh, thank God!

Bobby: The milk's about to go bad. (pause) And there it goes.

Dale: A lot of us hear about college, but have any of you ever actually SEEN one?

Man: (Compliments propane, I forget the exact words)
Hank: Yes, that's because propane is clean-burning and...
Man: Yes, we all remember your toast at my daughter's wedding.

OMG, and when Hank pulls over a police officer to tell him his tail ight's out XD

My favorite scene has to be when Hank is contemplating life after the propane explosion and Boomhauer tells him the meaning of life.

My fav line is from Earthy Girls are Easy. I even submitted it.

Hank: What the heck is a carbon offset?
Dale: It's like a 'Get out of Jail Free Card' for people concerned about the environment, but not concerned enough to do actually do anything.

    That is so true.

    Luanne: What's wrong Uncle Hank?

Hank: Nothing's wrong it's good news Peggy had her headache cured by John Redcorn.

Luanne: *makes a scared face and sound*

Hank: Stop that! put your face back the way it was before somebody sees ya.

    Bobby: What's wrong Luanne?

Hank: Nothings wrong Bobby, go play outside dinners going to be a little late

Bobby: *makes same scared look and sound*

early in season one, hank is watching a tv show where two guys are barbecuing steaks. one of the guys says, "now i'm gonna flip this steak". hank screams at the tv, "no, not that one! it's not ready! flip the other one. the other one!!" and then just shakes his head at the tv. tickles my funny bone every single time.

It is so hard to pick one.

    "That's my purse!"

"I got the diarrhea and vomiting." Damn Mexican banana!

    "If I may just demonstrate."

"Monogamy may work for you and Hank but it does not work for me and Dale and John Redcorn."

    "Operation Infinite Walrus"

"I just had phone sex. Bwah."

The end of the episode where they zoom in on the mongoose in the Megalo Mart ball pit. Cracks me up every time.

And everything that Gilbert said ever.

I liked the part in "Talking Shop" when Hank, Boomhauer, Bill and Dale were looking for cars for Bobby because they thought he was taking auto shop. Then they go to the house and look at a car that belongs to an old lady and the old lady comes out and asks them a question. Hank says that they were going to buy it and then Hank says that they were just looking. Then she keeps coming forward and Dale screams for them to run and they run away. I just find that hilarious.

I also thought the part were Bobby asked why girls don't like them and Joseph replied because he is weird and Bobby is chubby and kind of dumb. That was also from the same episode.

A non-funny moment I liked was when Luanne and Lucky were getting married and it showed many secondary characters like Boomhauer's brother and the social worker from the first episode. Then Hank admitted to feeling emotional and actually seemed like he liked Luanne for once and then they all shared a beer and said "Yep" and "Mmmhm" as usual. It would have been a great way to end the show, but "To Sirloin with Love"'s ending was nice too.

Well, Season 4 is as close to perfection as you can get but if I had to pick a favorite it would be most ANY line from "A Beer Can Named Desire":

    Bobby: "My Lorrrd!"

    Bill: "Both of Them!"

as well as... "A Louisiana diet will kill a man just a surely as a sword"; "This is velvet, not velveteen..."; "He was a beautiful man, I knew him briefly..."; "I do believe I'll give room service a jangle and have them send up some etouffee"; "I need a window seat 'cause this flower is wilting!"

There are absolutely too many scenes to pick just one. Some of their schtick is brilliant, the character development over the seasons has been wonderful, and the inflections by the voice talent given me the chills. Bevis and Butthead scooped me up on sight, and KOTH was a beautiful follow-up. Please give us more.
