Episode Summary

EDIT

Hank can't catch any fish with hand-dug American Earthworms, so he decides to try some artificial bait. Unfortunately, he mistakenly buys crack cocaine, thinking that it's fishing bait -- and the fish become addicted to his new bait. Hank gets in trouble with the law when he goes back to the dealer to buy some stronger bait.

  • Nothing Fishy Here

A great episode. Lots of laughs, and a funny plot that shows Hank's ignorance of things. I loved the gag of Ray showing up in court after he burned down his bait shop. I also really liked the opening scene with Bobby, especially when he asks about just buying the fish. Classic moment. While overall this episode seems a bit farfetched which is not typical of KOTH, it is a great episode and one that does a good job of portraying the various characters in the episode.moreless

In this episode, Hank performs a citizens arrest, when someone tries to hijack his car. Afterwards, Hank becomes very stressed out, and goes fishing alot. At first, things don't work out with dig up worms, so Hank (unknowingly) buys crack as bait. Hank is ok with it though, as he's catching lots and lots of fish. Dale becomes very jealous and follows Hank to get his bait. However, he, hank, and the seller are all arrested. The judge then gives Hank a deal: if he can show that Crack can be a good bait, then Hank and Dale are free. Overall, a really good episode. I felt Hank was a little too stupid in this episode, but it was funny so it was ok. 10/10 A+moreless
  • Hank is stupid.

    9.0
The stupidity of Hank Hill is vastly underrated. I can recall countless times in which his blind stupidity has gotten him out of trouble. This was absolutely no exception. In this episode, Hank buys drugs. Not safe drugs like your Advil or Vicks, hardcore drugs like cocaine. I can't understand why he didn't catch on in the very beginning. It made me laugh when he started thinking that he did something right. But this episode ended up with no trouble as Hank never gotten in trouble. The writing was good, the plot was good, and the comedy was good. Thank you.moreless
  • Hank performs a citizen's arrest to protect his own property and later ends up facing the judge himself.

This episode starts out with Hank Hill teaching Bobby a little something about life and the joys of fishing. He performs a monologue only to get interrupted by a pivotal situation.

    **SPOILERS**

Hank takes Bobby out one night to dig-up worms for fish bait and discovers a man trying to break into his truck. He brings the man to justice in court and makes his family proud as usual. The next day on the fishing trip with Dale, Bill and Boomhauer, the worms seem to be no match for the new-fangled artificial bait the guys are using. So Hank goes to the local bait shop the next day to find some of the good stuff and gets directed to another shop in town. He goes to the wrong "corner" for the purchase and ends up purchasing little crack rocks from a drug dealer. Tune in for the laughs.moreless
