  • Tail End of the Season

    9.5
If the episode were to of sucked, at least it has the funniest and most memorable title. Thankfully, this was a great episode. It has a, while unbelievable, hilarious plot line. And the humour inside of the episode was great. The B plot wasn't really funny at all, except the "he's a squatter" line. The whole fake love story between "Kidney Boy" and "Hamster Girl" was really funny and made this episode. Overall a great episode, especially for a Season Finale.moreless

bobby is mistaken for a high schooler accidentally, and the other high school guys feel bad for him because he fakes having a kidney disorder. and things only get worse when they hear that connie supposedly is part hamster. what will happen when bobby reveals the truth?

good episode and really one of my personal favorites of the series. i really like the humor and the story in this one and i consider it a fine classic, and a great way to end the 5th season. my overall grade for this episode is going to be an A+, great offeringmoreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (3)

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Bill: (in the Port-a-Gribble) I feel like I'm a millionaire construction worker.

    • Dale: With the finest lotions, the softest tissues, and the most pleasing lighting design, the Port-a-Gribble will be a four-by-five-by-eight foot slice of paradise.
Bill: Finally, a vacation I can afford.

    • Bobby: Taco Bueno in high school? I thought that was just an urban legend.

    • Bobby: That's a high school girl I know from the children's hospital. She has a little tail. Not like a monkey, more like a hamster. They can't operate, so they're dissolving it with Compound W.
Girl: Oh, that brave little Hamster Girl.

    • Connie: I thought they liked you because you're cool, not pitied you because you're a freak.
Bobby: No, I have the medical condition. You're the freak. We've got to keep our stories straight or we're never gonna pull it off.

  • NOTES (2)

    • The song that is being played while Bobby and the High Schoolers are in the car is "Ride Wit Me" by Nelly. The songs performed by No Doubt at the prom are "Don't Speak" and "Bathwater."

    • "Lupe's Revenge" was originally supposed to air this week, with "Kidney Boy and Hamster Girl" airing the week after. But the season was cut short, and "Lupe's Revenge" was postponed until the following season.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Student: Like that kid from that old TV show?

The student is referring to Gary Coleman from "Diff'rent Strokes". Gary Coleman also had a kidney disease that prevented him from growing.

    • Bobby (singing): If you wanna be my lover, you got to get with my friends!

The high school students demand that Bobby sing a song, so he sings a line from "Wannabe" by British pop band the Spice Girls.
