When the boxing class is full Bobby settles with a women's self-defense class, which teaches him to kick people in the groin. Bobby gets in a lot of trouble when it becomes his go to move.

    The truth of Cotton's past comes out and it turns out he slept with the "widow" and bore a child, unbeknownst to him. The son disowns the Hill name, which sends Cotton on a rampage, and he decides he is going to spit on the face of the Japanese Emperor Akihito at a ceremony honoring WWII veterans. Hank convinces Junichiro to try to stop their father, and is glad to be working with his brother. While on the search they come to realize how much they have in common, and Junichiro, decides being a Hill is not all that bad. Bobby develops a relationship with a girl when they start dancing at a local arcade. Luanne (who still can't figure out which dog is Ladybird) sees people in the Hills house, and, not knowing it is Dale and Bill, calls the cops.

  • Lupe's Revenge

    Peggy takes the school Spanish club on a field trip to Mexico. She mistakes a little Mexican girl, Lupe, for one of her students, and takes her back on the bus with her. When she realizes her mistake, she brings Lupe back to Mexico and is arrested for kidnapping. Hank finds himself the object of a female cop's affections, who keeps pulling him over for various reasons, in order to spend time with him.

    Cotton is being haunted by his memories of Japan and says he wants to go back to apologize to a widow whose husband he had killed in WWII. Peggy gets Cotton, Hank, Bobby and herself a trip to Japan, by saying she will write a story for the paper based on "The Widow in the Wallet". Hank finds out that there is more to this widow story, then Cotton first led on. Dale and Bill are put in charge of picking up the paper at the Hills so burglars don't try and break in. They feel the house is still not safe so they break in themselves. Luanne is put in charge of Ladybird, and believes that she has killed her, so she goes to buy another dog, only to find out Ladybird is alive, and now can't tell which one is which.

    Dale is running for re-election as Gun Club president, but his chances seem to be shot when he accidentally discharges his gun. To give Dale his confidence back, Hank and the gang respond to Dale's ad in a paper and send him on a fool proof assignment, which Dale screws up. Thinking that the person who sent him on the mission is his rival, Dale decides to take him out, and its up to Hank, Bill and Boomhauer to try and stop him.

    Texas is out of Alamo beer, and Peggy happens to land a job at the company. However, she agrees to not share any company secrets, including the reasoning for the shortage. Hank gets mad and Peggy eventually tells him, and he goes and blabs to the guys. The truth is that the beer has been shipped to Mexico. What Peggy doesn't tell Hank is that the beer is tainted and everyone in Mexico is getting sick. So the guys travel to Mexico to get beer, and of course, all wind up sick. Peggy is appalled that the company isn't doing anything about its Mexican customers and decides to take action into her own hands.

    Bill tries to get the attention of a beautiful jogger by setting a trap in the street. She trips and falls, hurting her ankle, but instead she goes home with Boomhauer. For the first time in his life Boomhauer finds himself in love. When she dumps him he turns into the next Bill.

Dale hates his father for making a pass at Nancy on their wedding day, but when Hank goes to see Bug, he discovers that the rodeo is a gay rodeo, and Dale's dad is gay.moreless

    Connie is sick and tired of her father forcing her to practice classical music and finds she loves Bluegrass. She decides to run off with Hank and the gang and form a band and compete in a contest in Branson. However, Hank starts pushing her just as much as her father did and Connie no longer wants to be a part of the band. Bobby is feeling ignored by his father, and when he has an opportunity to met a comedian he gets excited to show him a joke he wrote, in hopes his father would be proud.

    Hank repairs a propane-powered hot tub for a bikini-clad Nancy Gribble, and starts to have dreams about him and Nancy grilling burgers in the nude. When Peggy finds out, she concludes that Hank is bored with her and that they need to spice up their marriage by going to a nude beach.moreless

    Bill finds out that he was used as a guinea pig for the army, explaining why he is the way he is. This gets him depressed so he gets drunk and steals the tank. The guys stop him and help him to return it, but they wind up in the middle of the target practice for the war games. Peggy learns that she can get free ice cream if she can guess the exact weight and she becomes determined to do so.

    Hank and Dale are finding it easier to connect with each other's kids as suppose to their own. Dale figures that the reason he cannot connect is that he is not Joseph's real dad, but an alien is. When he tells this to Joseph, he goes off in search of his real dad.

When the head of the Institute, Dr. Vayzosa, offers her a chance to get a PhD for only $900, she uses the family savings to pay for it. When Luanne takes the online I.Q. test and also scores as a genius, Peggy realizes that she has been conned, and she comes up with an elaborate sting to get the money back.

The WWII vets and the Vietnam vets hate each other, and when Hank tries to bring them together, he and Cotton wind up getting pursued by kill-crazy Vietnam veterans who are having flashbacks. Dale gets a falcon that keeps attacking Bill.

    Nine Rivers Country Club, an all-asian resort, is hosting the PGA tournament, but only if they can get a non-asian member. Ted Wasanasang invites Hank, unbeknownst to him the real reason. Kahn sees this as an opportunity to get membership himself, so agrees to get Hank to join for his own membership.

    Buck Strickland has to build a house for Habitat for Humanity as part of his community service, and Hank does all the work. Buck is so pleased that he promotes Hank to manager, but when Hank tells Buck in public that he loves him, he is quickly demoted. Cotton becomes jealous that Hank likes Buck better, and Peggy sets out to repair their broken relationship for a Christmas miracle.

However, Dale, Bill and Boomhauer nominate Hank without his knowledge and he wins. At first Hank doesn't want to but Bobby convinces him. On the run Hank falls and puts the torch out.

    Luanne joins a sorority that is really a cult that attracts lonely girls looking for acceptance, and then starves them and enslaves them. When she leaves because she can't handle it, Peggy convinces her its just hazing. Peggy brings her back and winds up joining herself, as she has also felt lonely lately. Strickland needs Hank to kill his emus and Hank enlists his friends' help, but none of them can pull the trigger, and the emu wind up escaping.

  • Unable to find a full-time teaching job, Peggy agrees to go to work with Hank at Stickland Propane. An idea that Hank is much fonder of than Peggy. When the opportunity arrises for Peggy to teach full time, she lies about her religion, to teach at a Catholic school.

    Kahn tries to bribe Bobby to break up with Connie. Sick of not being able to be together anywhere they go, Connie and Bobby decide to pretend to break up so they can get the money and rent a motel room. When Connie's behavior convinces Kahn and Minh that she is depressed without Bobby, they try to push her and Bobby back together. After endless double dates with the parents, they become tired of each other, and decide to break up, to Kahns horror. Dale gets his own pirate radio station and puts on a "24 hour Gribble Talk".

    Hank is trying to land a big account at a Renaissance Fair. Peggy offers to help by saying she'll work there in exchange for the King considering using the propane. When she is assigned to be a house cleaning winch, she has a hard time staying in character, and behaving inferior to the men. When she tries to approach the King, he dismisses her, which starts a war that Peggy needs to win.
