Whilst Bobby and Stacey are working on the car at the end, Bobby puts the wrench down on the car next to him. When he asks for the socket wrench, the wrench he had put down has disappeared.
When Stacey is throwing eggs at the house, the first two she throws disappear when Hank stands up and she throws two more. Then when Hank comes outside, the eggs are gone again.
Bobby: You know, Dad, I think your obsession with auto shop stems from your unresolved feelings about your father. And maybe we should explore some of those feelings.
Hank: Bobby, you know how I explore my feelings? I fix my truck or your mother's car. When Mr. Dauterive's wife left him, we tuned up his Escort. And when that little fella from the Fantasy Island died, we put the ant on top of Dale's van.
Hank: I didn't know if you were a Ford man or a Chevy man. It was the happiest problem I've ever faced.
Bobby: Think about it: why do guys like us keep striking out with the ladies?
Joseph: Because I'm weird, and you're chubby and kind of dumb?
Bobby: Don't be ridiculous.
Bobby: What we need to do is find a class with a lot of girls. Girls who don't know us.
Joseph: Yeah, we can pretend we're from the future. And we have to experiment on them. Wait, this is why girls don't like me, isn't it?
Stacey: (to Bobby) Aren't you the kid they had to cut out of the soccer net?
Joseph: Isn't your dad going to be mad?
Bobby: Oh, it's football season. I'm WAY off his radar.
This marks the third guest appearance of a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" cast member: Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) in "They Call It Bobby Love," Eliza Dushku (Faith) in "Get Your Freak Off," and now Alyson Hannigan (Willow) in "Talking Shop."
All the special guest stars (Alyson Hannigan, Laura Prepon & Lindsay Lohan) are redheads. All three ladies have appeared on "That '70s Show", another FOX show, as well. Laura is a full time cast member, and Lindsay and Alyson have had recurring guest roles.
Stacey (singing): I'm your Stacey in a bottle!
Stacey's song to Bobby is a parody of "Genie In A Bottle" by Christina Aguilera.
