Dale: We could be your backup band. "The Dale Gribble Bluegrass Experience."
Hank: Hm. I like it.
Connie: We only have enough money for a t-shirt or a row of tickets at the Andy Williams show.
Earl: You ever think about taking her to Branson?
Hank: You think she's Branson good?
Bill: I want to hear "Puff the Magic Dragon". Play that song, I like it, play it... "Puff the Magic Dragon"!
Hank: Bill, do you have any idea what that song is about? It's about a dragon!
Bobby: In America, you put "In God We Trust" on your money. In Russia, we have no money!
Hank: Boomhauer, you're good at stage patter.
Boomhauer: Yeah, man, maybe I'll give 'em a bit of that little old "How you doin' in Branson, man... lemme hear you say 'yeah.'"
Hank: Uhhh... I'm a jackass...
Kahn: Stop stating the obvious!
Tagline: "Huh. I like it." - Hank
A week after the airing of this episode The Simpsons also went to Branson in the episode "The Old Man and the Key."
The episode title alludes to the famous idiom The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence which implies that even a person, like child prodigy Connie, who seems to have the best of everything in their life will envy something in the life of a simpler neighbor like Hank.
