This episode is just beyond funny. Between Hank's self righteous attitude and the stereotypical punk teenager, this episode is full of laughs, especially the scene where Cane "pretends" his parents are both not around. This is one of those episodes that, while a bit far fetched in some sense, is also very real about how there is always an older person who thinks the next generation is weird and forgetting that their parents once (and might still) feel the same. Bill being the bait(and shot twice in the drive by) was a classic moment and one of the many "it's always Bill" parts. Overall one of the best of the series and definitly of Season 2
  • The Man Who Shot Cane Sdretteburg is a real eye opener in that Hank and the gang really give the neighborhood whippersnappers something to contend with when they try to make them out to be old fogeys.

The Man Who Shot Cane Skretteburg is a great episode and shows Hank Hill at his best; leader extraordinaire. Some nieghborhood teenage bullies try to make Hank and the guys look like they can't keep up with the hipsters anymore and Bobby of course starts to idolize the idiotic teens. That really gets Hank's blood boiling and he ends up insulting then challenging the punks to a game of paintball. Hank, Dale Bill and Boomhauer take on the teenagers in an ill fated round at the outdoor arena and end up getting completely humiliated in front of even the "ball boy". We will have a good ending as usual and even a moral to the story for young Bobby's benefit. Tune in for a great family oriented story.
  • King of the Hill at its best; my favorite episode

    9.5
This episode is classic. It's the best episode of the entire series and a great example of how good this show used to be. Hank, Bill, Boomhauer and Dale face off in a paintball match against a group of teenagers led by Cane Skretteburg. After facing constant losses, Hank and co. challenge them to one last rematch. Dale, Boomhauer and Bill are shot by Cane's friends early on, but Hank manages to disguise himself as a ball cleaner. When Cane comes up and asks him where Hank is, Hank finally shoots him (with slo-mo and all).

I haven't seen this episode in a while, but it has always been one of my favorites. Especially when Hank finally beats Cane. "Oh, and young man...you lose." It's too bad the King of the Hill would become a painfully unfunny show in its final years, but at this time, it was in its prime.
