When they got to the camp site, they had sticks instead of slim jims.
Peggy seems to not want to tell Hank she got new shoes and instead says she got a microwave. First, getting new shoes isn't a big deal, it is pretty obvious Hank does not believe that she only wears one pair of shoes, so there is no point in lying. Secondly, in later episodes Hank knows how big her feet are (and if they are 16 it would be very obvious they are huge) so another reason to not lie. Thirdly, it seems very odd that Hank wouldn't notice that the microwave never changes, despite Peggy's claim that she buys new ones a lot. It doesn't seem to be very clear why she lied, and how she possibly gets away with it. And this shoe store is never once mentioned again, the entire series.
Bobby and Joseph are playing at the beginning of the episode and Joseph is wearing his typical green shirt, then about 10 seconds later he comes on screen again and is in his Straight Arrow uniform.
Dale backs up for quite a while when trying to explain how he is not connected to the rest of the group, but then when they change angles he is inches from them.
It is in this episode that we learn Peggy's shoe size is size 16 triple E
When Dale is mooning the car, he's yelling "WHOO-HOO!", but his mouth is wide open the whole time.
In the beginning of the episode, we can see that Boomhauer has blue jeans on. After the flashback, he's wearing tan khakis
When Dale fell out of the tent, his hat came off and he had a lot more hair than he usually does.

John Redcorn: The spirit bag is very sacred. You should not make light.
Dale: I like how you say everything's sacred. Let's use that!
Randy: Wematanye, Texas license plate, wematanye.
Bobby: Wematanye, it says Texas, wematanye.
Hank: Will you all shut up?
Everyone else: You didn't say Wematanye!
Bill: I'm so depressed, I can't even blink.
This is the first episode to have a tag. A tag is a scene that happens as the closing credits appear on screen. In the early seasons there were many episodes with tags, but as the series went on there were less.
This episode starts a recurring theme of John Redcorn's hair blowing in the wind any time he talks about something sacred or related to "his people"
Victor Aaron who voiced John Redcorn had died on September 4, 1996, 5 months earlier. This episode is dedicated to his memory.
Hippie: The brown herbal ecstasy is bad. Do not take the brown herbal ecstasy.
This an allusion to a similar announcement that was made at "Woodstock".
Hank: He will recommend us to the spirit in the sky.
Norman Greenbaum's song Spirit in the Sky contains the line, 'You gotta have a friend in Jesus, so you know that when you die, he's gonna recommend you to the spirit in the sky.'
