Hank: We'll need a volunteer to stay with Nancy, in case Dale shows up.
John Redcorn: (raises his hand, then Bill raises his hand. He glares at Bill angrily) My hand was up first. (continues to glare until Bill puts his hand down.)
Dale: (Under the influence of mushrooms, Dale is recording his outdoor experience, his shelter collapses) Reminder: Buy a hammer and nails. (notices there are no batteries in his recorder) ...and batteries. (hurls his tape recorder. Speaks into a pinecone) ...and a new tape recorder.
Dale (While on top of a tree branch): So long, suckers! (Starts flapping his arms and makes bird noises until he jumps off and falls to the ground) Hank, I can see your house from here.
Nancy: The earliest symptoms of rabies include chills . . .
Dale: I'm cold, Nancy, soooo COLD!
Nancy: You're in your underwear, Sug.
Dale: (reassuring Hank) I'll find LadyBird. Lucky for you, I'm not only an exterminator, I am also a bounty hunter, here's my OTHER card. Give it to me, and save 10%.
Hank: (Holding her bloody collar) Oh My GOD!! LadyBird is hurt...Somebody call 9-1-1!
Hank: LadyBird is a member of this family. You've seen our Christmas card.
Bobby: I've also seen her drink outta the toilet, wipe herself across the carpet, scratch herself, and sniff another dog's butt.
Bobby: (Opening trash bag for raccoon) Now, let's see what's in Santa's bag? What a CRIME! If you are not a hungry man, Luanne, you should not be taking on a Hungry Man Dinner.
Bobby: Has anyone smelled today's trash yet? It's nice.
Tagline: "So long, suckers!" - Dale
Hank: You name a pet, you name a guitar, you do NOT name a raccoon!
Hank himself names his guitar. He refers to it as 'Betsy' in a previous episode, and treats it much better than his own child.
Young Frankenstein
When Dale asks Hank to cover up the hole after enters, and asks that he not remove it no matter what, then instantly pleads with him to remove literally moments afterward is a possible reference to a similar scene in the movie Young Frankenstein.
This episode's title is a similar to the title of the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
