EDIT
The Shares Of The Fisherman
AIRED:
Thel saves $5,000 to buy a Datsun, Ted finds Thel's money & invests it in 'Mullett Oil' an offshore oil company. Ted bought 5,000 shares for $1.00 each, by the end of the first day the share price had dropped to 0.80c.! Thel was very annoyed at Ted for spending her money on useless shares, that is until the next day when Mullett shares skyrocketed to $20.00 each.! Ted telephones a limousine company & Fiona Beaumont a salesperson comes to their place to show him pictures of Mercedes & other expensive cars. Ted doesn't want any of these, he wants a Statesman.! Bruno & Greta arrive & congratulate Ted & Thel on their windfall. When Craig arrives he shows Ted the newspaper headline..... Mullett. Broke.!!! Ted thinks he's lost the lot, but Thel acted just in time & sold the shares while the price was still high. She made enough money to buy her Datsun, give Bruno & Greta enough for a deposit on their home & to buy Ted a new Holden keyring.!! a BIG thank you to T.S. who made this synopsis possible.moreless
