Channel 7 in Australia has been screening the series since February.

Today they screen episode 4 which is the last one to be shown on US tv but I just rang programming and they confirmed that next Friday they will be showing Episode 5

Wow... Australia. Is that an insult to them or to the US? I guess it's bittersweet that they're still airing it... but as long as the genearl public is able to watch them then all is good!

Does anyone know if there were any more episodes shown in Australia and if they are going ahead with the rest?

    quote from Movie hole:
Speaking of “Kitchen”, obviously it’s been well and truly killed of in the U.S.A., but Channel 7 here in Australia has thrown us a bone, by giving one of the funniest comedies of the year a brief run over here. The suck of it is that they are going to be running it at 2:30 in the afternoon, once a week beginning Friday the 3rd of February. But here’s the interesting part – after getting the original programming notice, I made a couple of calls to some pals at 7, and they tell me that they have it on the books for the next two months. If that’s the case (and it would be kick-ass if it is), it will mean that we will get the entire commissioned run of the show, not just the four episodes that FOX dumped over a couple of months…..

They've aired all but episode 9 "The Robbery" now, and that airs this Friday.

Shame this show got cancelled, the 4 Fox aired were good, but the ones they didn't are even better.

The show got better with each episode, as I recall. I know I was really impressed with the French Fight episode when it aired, and the unaired ones were all at least that good and often better.

Unfortunately, I think that much like Arrested Development, it was unlikely to get more than a niche audience. Comedies without laugh tracks always seem to have problems. Nevertheless, I wish Fox had given the show more time.
