Chef Michel Bardavid was born, raised, and professionally trained in Lyon, France. Bardavid has previously worked at Checkers, Fenix at the Argyle Hotel, and famed The French Laundry which is owned and operated by Thomas Keller, who is one of only two chefs in the world with two three-Michelin star restaurants (an accomplishment Ramsay doesn't own as of the airing of this episode).
