    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (7)

      • When KITT pulls to a stop after entering the bad guys' camp, his tires are covered with orange dust and sand, but in the close-up view of the traction spikes being pulled in, the tires are smooth and clean.

      • When the deputy is talking to Darryl and looking at the rabbit he saved, there is a shot of Michael smiling, and behind him, the deputy's car mysteriously jerks forward, even though the car is off and the vehicle is empty.

      • When SID took off after Michael reactivated him, you can see a wire reflect in the sun attached to one of the antennas.

      • When Michael and KITT pass the fleeing ATV, the sheriff is missing from the back in one shot.

      • In the shot looking from KITT at the bum at the ATM machine, K.I.T.T.'s voice modulator is clearly not moving in time with his voice. (Shots seeing both K.I.T.T.'s modulator and through the windshield are rare in the series, for the fact that the modulator shots were usually recorded afterwards and inserted in).

      • How did Michael and KITT get the close-up shot of Gomez, the driver of the ATV? They only recorded the 4x4 escaping over the ridge.

      • Michael retracts KITT's new tire traction spikes, but when he pulled up to stop right beforehand, they were not seen, though there was an unobstructed view of KITT's tires.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • KITT: We can overtake him easily, Michael.
Michael: I know, but we are going to let him think he lost us.
KITT: It appears you are about to resort to that novelty.
Michael: I sure am. SID's the only one that can get on top of the mountain...find out what's going on. (Michael pulls over and opens up the box and pulls out SID, disguised as a soccer ball) Alright, activate SID.
KITT: The toy is activated, Michael.

      • Michael: All our jobs should be this easy, KITT.
KITT: I have to admit, patrolling a public park is a welcome change of pace.
Michael: Well, the Park Service takes over in a couple of days, so don't get too mellowed out.
KITT: "Mellowed out?" That sounds like some sort of fuel malfunction!

      • (after using KITT's new spiked traction wheels)
Michael: (laughing) That was great! I feel like a kid.
KITT: So do I, Michael, and I've never been one.

      • KITT: What's our destination, Michael?
Michael: The north ridge of the Perkins estate.
KITT: How do we get in there without being spotted?
(smiling, Michael glances to SID sitting on the passenger seat)
Michael: I thought you'd never ask.
KITT: I walked right into that one, didn't I?
        Michael: (giggling) More like turbo-boosted.
KITT: Don't rub it in, Michael! I mean, it's bad enough he's sitting in front, right next to you!

      • Michael: (to Rusk and her accomplice) You know, arson is a really dirty habit, but prison can also burn you out.

      • RC3: (on SID) Looks like a high-tech hat box.
