In Bonnie's absence, Devon suddenly acquires all her scientific and analytical skills, using the computer and microscopes, as well as explaining technical details, to aid Michael in his investigation.

Crane's entertaining room is clearly a redress of the set used used for Devon's FLAG office.

KITT uses the word "anthropomorphic" incorrectly when he uses it to describe the zombie-like men under control of the ear clips. Anthropomorphism is the attaching of uniquely human characteristics to animals or objects, not humans acting inhuman.

KITT opens the gate to Tanika's training facility, but is shown using Ultrasonic Freq., not Microjam.

The final chase involves several landmarks from the Universal Studios Tour as it was in 1986. Among the landmarks are the movie theater from the Back to the Future town square, the spinning cave (which has not been featured on the tour for several years) and the flood stop. The chase ends at the Amity Island section of the tour.

The footage of KITT crashing through the prison gate is recycled from the first season episode 'No Big Thing'.

KITT's turbo-boost over the ravine – the last turbo-boost to be seen in the series – was previously used in the first season episodes 'The Topaz Connection' and 'Nobody Does It Better' and the third season's 'Lost Knight'.

When KITT pulls to a stop after entering the bad guys' camp, his tires are covered with orange dust and sand, but in the close-up view of the traction spikes being pulled in, the tires are smooth and clean.

When the deputy is talking to Darryl and looking at the rabbit he saved, there is a shot of Michael smiling, and behind him, the deputy's car mysteriously jerks forward, even though the car is off and the vehicle is empty.

When SID took off after Michael reactivated him, you can see a wire reflect in the sun attached to one of the antennas.

When Michael and KITT pass the fleeing ATV, the sheriff is missing from the back in one shot.

In the shot looking from KITT at the bum at the ATM machine, K.I.T.T.'s voice modulator is clearly not moving in time with his voice. (Shots seeing both K.I.T.T.'s modulator and through the windshield are rare in the series, for the fact that the modulator shots were usually recorded afterwards and inserted in).

How did Michael and KITT get the close-up shot of Gomez, the driver of the ATV? They only recorded the 4x4 escaping over the ridge.

Michael retracts KITT's new tire traction spikes, but when he pulled up to stop right beforehand, they were not seen, though there was an unobstructed view of KITT's tires.

Directly after Michael escapes the warehouse explosion, he's in the semi talking about what just happened, as indicated by his use of the word tonight. Yet, a shot of the semi driving right before the conversation is during the daytime.

When RC3 crosses the river, you can see that his lower pant legs are completely soaked. However, when he reaches the road a minute later, his clothes are totally dry.

When Becker's henchmen toss Michael into the hole in the ground, you can see a pair of hands appear from the hole to catch him.

Michael and RC went to check out Route 107. California State Route 107 is less than five miles long and connects the cities of Torrance and Longdale. Las Flores is over 500 miles to the north, near Redding.

After RC3 tackles a shooter, Michael gives him a return 'thumbs up' while facing the driver window, but RC was off to the side of the passenger side window.
