  • I loved this show I don't think it's on anymore, but if you want to learn about basketball and life Bobby Knight is the guy to teach it to you.

This was a great show, these kids were really excite about learning from Bobby Knight and you could tell. He has a real influence on people, bad or good as you will read below as well. The fact he was able to do this and give these kids on this show the opportunity for a walk-on spot to play for coach Knight was pretty amazing. I'm a Buckeye fan, and of course Bobby knight went to OSU. Eventhough I was born way past that in fact we share a birthday, my Dad and would watch Buckeye baseketball, and when they weren't on we would watch Bobby Knight and Indiana. I would root for Indiana anytime they weren't playing the Buckeyes just because of Knight, and then Texas Tech because of knight. Basically my 2nd favorite team is whoever Bob Knight is coaching for. He may have a temper but he teaches his kids to be good people not just good basketball players. He is a quality guy and really passionate about what he does. He also has a great sense of humor, according to the people who have played for him and the people he has coached with. Knight may have a gruff exterior but he is one of the greatest coaches of our time.moreless
  • I have always been a Bob Knight fan and this show solidifies that even more. The media has portrayed him as a maniacal chair thrower but the truth is he is a great coach who demands perfection and occasionally has anger problems.moreless

One of my favorite moments on the show thus far was when Coach Knight was describing what attribute is most important to him in a player. He said out of any attribute (athletic, smart, etc.), he would pick enthusiasm.

Another thing that I found fascinating was Coach Knight's desire to teach and emphasis on education. His son Pat stated that he can't think of a time when his father was without a book. Great show and I look forward to more.moreless

This sports reality show is great. 16 kids start off trying to get a walkon spot to play for Bobby Knight\'s basketball team. Each week 4 players are eliminated untill there are four left than i think its one by one. This show is entertaining and is a Bobby Knight classic. HAHAHA.
  • i love this show, i live in lubbock and go to every game and he is an awesome coach and TTU is very lucky to have an excellent coach ,

i have seen 2 episodes and i am on the edge of my chair because i can't wait to see the next episode. i believe he is an excellent coach, he inspires many students, faculty members, friends, and tens of thousands of fans. i hope that he will do a next season of Knight School. you really have to appreciate what he has done for TTU and the Basketball Program here at TTU. one thing i thought was pretty cool is the USA (United Spirit Arena) the first game that was ever played in the USA was against Bob Knight when we was the head coach at Indiana Univ., it also happens to be located on indiana avenue, and then guess what , he is now Head Coach for the Red Raiders. GO TECH!!!!!!moreless
