In the same dilemma as compared to last season when Karen's ex-neighbors' best friend & employee, Gary started drinking due to his ex-wife's Valene's stolen pages, just before Ciji was found dead and was going through therapy while being arrested for Ciji's murder, before going sober, Karen also goes to therapy after taking all the pills due to her complications of her daughter's Diana problems and back pains, but she gets better real soon.
