  • Today's lesson for kids is...

At first, I was actually singing praises to the heavens that an episode like this one showed up. Sana misses her friend's birthday party, so she and the rest of the girl clique decide to gang up on her for it. Or rather, they do the exact opposite and get the rest of the class to ignore her. I was initially really happy, finally, a show that is completely honest with how truly vicious girls can be when they want to be, I can't tell you how long it's been since I've seen that. But then I get to the conclusion of how Sana deals with the problem. Apologizing over and over until her ebil friends accept. At that point I really wanted to find the writers and use the guy that came up with THAT idea and use him as a punching bag. Really, is that supposed to be the message they were trying to send? Well kids, if YOU ever have bratty friends that treat you like dirt because they have nothing better to do, nothing better than just letting them walk all over you! Keep apologizing over and over again, even if what happened isn't your fault. That'll show 'em! Hold your head up high!

    No.

On the upside, Akito was incredibly glomp-able in this episode. In other, less fangirlish, words, he was amazing. The ending with the 'Two rivals tossed away like coins.' thing was cryptic and cool (and yet still managed to send me into obsessive spasms). Overall it was a good episode, one definitely worth watching.moreless
  • Geez! Some friends they are!

What Hisae, Mami, and Aya did was inexcusably rude! They seemed an awful lot like the "Populars" from our class! I cannot believe that they blew Sana off just because she had to work. If anyone is to blame, it's probably Rei because he was the one who kept booking commercials. I'm just glad that Sana didn't let it get to her and that Akito and Tsuyoshi were there for her too. Akito is veeeeery sneaky! He figured out how to get Sana to give up on Rei, and convinced Tsuyoshi that Aya was a much better catch than Sana, especially after Aya confessed her feelings to Tsuyoshi in front of the whole class. Afterwards, he silently said, "Yes! Two rivals down!" *SIGH* I just hope they get together soon.....moreless
