Kojak is a view of a NYPD department, a police squad, and the streets of New York. The characters are rich, interesting and colorful. Each episode keeps me on the edge of my seat.
Kojak is a powerful man with heart, who has loyality to himself and his fellow officers. Kojak makes us care about him. Each week we are are allowed entry into this world for a few thrilling moments.
It brings an overview of New York's character, shows us its underbelly, let's us peek into the many different worlds that all go into forming New York.
It's our ticket into the world of policework at it's finest. Sunday night is a stay-at-home night. Kojak is NOT to be missed.
