Kojak must reopen a case in which the prime suspect of three women was shot and killed after a shootout with him. Now, eight years later, the murders have started again and it appears that Kojak may have killed the wrong man.

His nephew's friend steals the camera and uses it to buy drugs from the murdered man. They witness the murder and are reluctant to involve the police.
