During the second season of Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami Khloe left to be with Lamar around the time of the episode Sisterly Love and a there was a stint of about 3 episode where it was just Kourtney and Kim in Miami. I enjoyed seeing them together, based on those episodes Kourtney and Kim Take New York is a promising series. I love Khloe and I know Kourtney and Kim will be great also. In Miami once I saw Kim was there for a while I thought to myself, this is another show in the making.
