What can I say, this show is cross between Robin Hood (the funnier versions), Monty Python (the sillier skits), and a few other dozen crazy references I won't bore you with. Let's just say Mel Brooks and Terry Gilliam thrown together on a weird day.
It definitely has a more adult bent to it with all the sex references (Tumbling panties or no panties jokes for example), lots of gay and bestial references, and gratuities humorous violence and killing.
Krod's (Sean Maguire) merry band is made up of a very sexy India de Beaufort as his girlfriend Aneka who is a pagan who uses sex as her weapon, Steven Speirs as Loquasto the oafish servant, Kevin Hart as Zezelryck the phony magician, and Marques Ray as Bruce, General Arcadius short term lover. Their evil foe is Chancellor Dongalor (Matt Lucas) and his sidekick Barnabus (Alex MacQueen).
Especially funny are Aneka who spends most of her time thinking about who she will seduce next and Dongalor who randomly goes around killing whomever he pleases.
The big news in this episode is General Arcadius is killed and Krod must become the leader of the rebellion.
This show is full of sight gags, one liners, and juvenile adult based humor. A great way to kill a half hour as long as there are no small children present. Sort of like South Park, but with no animation.
