  • Krypto gets a taste of how Bat Hound does his superheroing.

After Krypto is zapped by red kryptonite he loses all his powers and finds a way to improvise until he gets his regular powers back. Bat Hound offers that Krypto learn how to use his technique of beating the bad guys. Bat Hound tries to teach Krypto how to use the utility belt and be more like him, which Bat Hound has a hard time doing. I have to say that this is one of the best episodes so far. I think Krypto should just stick to using his powers, it's what makes him, well, him. I give this episode a perfect ten out of ten.
  • Krypto experiences what it's like to be Bathound, and not by choice. Learning is one thing, but actually taking part is another...

This episode begins when Bathound asks for Krypto's help to catch the Penguin's birds, Artie (a toucan), Griff (a vulture), and Waddles (a penguin). He's told him about how they have a thing for gems and priceless stones. In attempt to stop them, however, Krypto gets rendered powerless by red kryptonite after thoroughly beating Artie and Griff and then going after Waddles. Bathound, still needing Krypto's help, offers to equip him with special bat gear. At first, it seems promising, but turns bad as Krypto realizes how truly hard it is to use Ace's gear. Still trying to help, Krypto attempts to stop the birds from committing another heist, only to get Ace captured. Krypto feels bad about letting him get caught, but can't really do anything with no powers. Streaky points Krypto in the right direction by a wild guess. In a bluff to catch the birds off guard, he fakes his powers returning and uses the laser harness that he got from Bathound (which ironically got Ace captured in the first place) to free Ace and stun the group.

Another group of Batman/Bathound villains that can truly give Krypto a hard time if he's not careful. The whole team-up thing with Krypto and Ace makes the show really interesting, and can even be better if they made 24-minute episodes to focus on them. Perhaps that's something next season. 10/10
