Okay, I have to admit this isn't a bad "script format" episode idea and I do have to certainly respect the effort you put into this, but I also should point out that, just to be on the safe side, you should probably change this to a non-script, dialogue kept to an absolute minimum, format.

I asked the editor to ask a mod to do this, which he did.

I've got one more idea coming up that has to do with Band of Thieves arc. It's called "Den of Thieves". Aria may be gone, and the band may now be good guys, but they aren't off the hook yet, not until Krypto retrieves everything they (and himself) stole.

Here's the final episode of the Band of Thieves arc, or you could call it the first episode of a new arc.

    Den of Thieves

Krypto was lying down on the floor of the living room of Kevin's house, with Aria's ribbon around his collar, while Kevin's family watches the television. They were watching the news, and a special report about certain item being stolen and never retrieved is mentioned. Krypto sighs and leaves the room, with Kevin chasing after him. Kevin asks what is wrong, and Krypto tells him that he had to go and retrieve those items. After all, he helped steal a few of them, and he was now the official leader of the Band of the Thieves, meaning he was responsible for the items. As he walks outside, Streakky appears and asks where he is going, Krypto says he is going to the group's hideout to get the items back. Streaky volunteers to come, but Krypto tells him he'd best not. Streaky follows him anyways. Krypto is aware of this and told him that he could come. As they entered, Krypto tells Streaky to watch out for traps. Streaky asks what kind of traps, and sets one off, causing daggers to come at him with lightning fast speed, barely missing him. "That kind of trap." Krypto tells him mockingly. They find some locked doors, but Streaky can't break them open. Krypto approaches them and they open. When Streaky asks how he did that, he replies saying that Aria's magic must still be at work. Therefore, since Krypto signed the contract and made himself a member, he could enter through all of the doors. Streaky sets off more traps, and none of them target Krypto for the same reason. Krypto tells Streaky that he should go, but Streaky refuses. They finally find the items and Streaky begins to get them out. Krypto however, notices one final door. He approaches it and realizes that it can't be entered by anyone except Aria. He knows that something is back there that Aria didn't want anybody to see. Krypto places his paw on the door, and it opens. It recognizes Krypto as the new leader of the band. Krypto notices the room is dark, and is filled with magic power, but it's empty. A voice calls out to Krypto and tells him that he will nw be consumed by the darkness in his heart and gain the power of dark magic. Krypto is surrounded by a dark aura, and Krypto laughs, saying that the darkness in his heart no longer is part of him, and that even he, meaning Dark Krypto, would never allow himself to be controlled. Aria's ribbon gives off a different aura that counteracts the dark one. Krypto notices nothing is in the room tomorrow and tells himself that Aria is still with him. As he leaves with Streaky, a dark figure forms out of the aura in the room. "You were foolish Krypto, you being here means that you killed my daughter. I promised her long ago that I would treat the one she cared for like a son, but you rejected the power. Now, you must perish." the voice says. Krypto gets a strange feeling down his spine. He tells Streaky that for some reason, he doesn't think that Aria was the only dark magic user.

There was no need to do that, X-626. I greatly appreciate the thought, but I already willingly altered my profile so that it could stay in its own continuity (as much as I really liked your idea), so you can still go with your original idea (it sounds way better than mine anyway). Sorry about that. Still, this WAS some pretty darn good build-up. Terribly sorry for inconviencing you like that. Please accept my sincerest apologies (embarrassed grin).

Nearly letting Kevin die, perhaps? I'm not really sure, but I'm pretty certain it'd have to be losing either Superman or Kevin, or perhaps Earth being destroyed completely, or something like that. Hope that helped

Maybe Krypto and Kevin weren't the only ones to have a big adventure during the holiday season. Here's a story idea that attempts to explain what Streaky and Ace were up to Christmas Eve day. This is another collaboration with Comickook and features one of his creations as villain.

    A Visit from Saint Nick

It's Christmas Eve and the members of the Supercat Fan Club have decorated the headquarters, eagerly awaiting a special visit from their hero, but as usual, he's running late. Jimmy the Rat verifies that Streaky DOES have a good reason for running late; one that he already knows; but he'll let Streaky himself explain when he finally shows up. Squeaky assures everyone his uncle will make it and he does, an hour later, wearing a Santa cap and exclaiming “Merrrry Christmas, guys!”

He's greeted by the usual fan club gang, plus new members, a yellow kitten named Bo, firedog trainee Blaze and some pigeons who dropped in to get warm. Outside are snowcats the kittens and Blaze made while they were waiting, including one with a cape that resembles Supercat and Streaky smiles approvingly. The kittens and pup are excited about Christmas and talk about the toys they expect to receive. But they're surprised when Streaky says to please not mention toys, not after what he's been through today.

Squeaky is curious and asks if it has anything to do why Streaky was so late to the meeting (Squeaky adding that Jimmy said it was for a good reason, but now they are curious as to what it is).

Streaky explains he was busy with his latest adventure, helping Bat Hound in Gotham City and he has a special Christmas story that will explain why he's had his fill of toys. The kittens say they hope it's not another of those squishy, sugary Christmas stories, they want some real hero action. But Streaky assures them that the story of his latest adventure has lots of holiday cheer, warmth, action, a special cameo by Batman and even some gunplay. That gets the fan club members' attention and Streaky begins his tale.

Streaky explains that the heroes wish there could be joy and good cheer all the time, not just Christmas, but there are always bad guys out there who try to spoil everyone else's fun. So Ace had come to Metropolis that morning seeking Krypto's help. Bat Hound had learned that the Joker, with Bud and Lou's help, was threatening to in effect "Cancel Christmas in Gotham" by attacking holiday celebrations including a party for foster children and a gathering for homeless puppies and kittens. But Krypto was preoccupied with Kevin and his holiday visitors (Streaky admits that he LOVED seeing the extremely nervous look on Bailey's face when he briefly caught a glimpse of Ace) so Streaky agreed to fill in (noting that he'd prefer to face every villain in Krypto and Ace's combined rogues' galleries all at once than have to put up with ANDREA's holiday visitors without a break ("At least the super-villains are something I can actually do something about," Streaky adds).

As they arrive in Gotham City, snow is falling. In a dirty alleyway, Streaky and Ace accompany cranky, overweight police dog Booker to the animal shelter where they are waiting on entertainment for the kittens and puppies to arrive. Booker is grumbling that Bruce Wayne, who donated money to the police for the event, should have trusted the police to handle this, no need to get caped freaks involved, he says. But Ace reminds him that word on the street is that the Joker has plans for the holiday. And they don't involve a family get-together, Streaky adds, glaring at the large dog.

Streaky and Booker stop arguing long enough to agree on a holiday truce as a plump, white sheepdog named Sam wearing a red sweater and Santa cap, arrives. But as he gets closer, Streaky and Ace see that he has been attacked. He says he was on his way to provide entertainment at the animal shelter when two hyenas jumped him and he was separated from his humans, but he managed to get away. Ace tells Streaky to handle the situation at the shelter while he goes off to find Bud and Lou.

Sam says he can still help, but can't carry in the the bag of presents so Streaky forces the reluctant Booker to fill in as Santa, (Streaky makes a comment about needing someone who has a big belly, is jolly and embodies the Christmas spirit of generosity and good will, and taking another look at Booker, adds that one out of three will have to do). Booker, at first, refuses but Streaky flies around the dog at super speed and forces him into the Santa suit. Streaky dons reindeer antlers and a resigned Booker gets in a small sleigh which Streaky pulls to the animal shelter, making a grand entrance for the puppies and kittens. Booker is a surprisingly good Santa, even with the kittens; enough so that Streaky decides the police dog can handle Santa duty. With that, he flies off to catch up with Ace.

The sound of sirens fills the air and Streaky and Ace follow the police to Gotham City's largest shopping mall where Santa is taking last minute gift requests or was until an alarming disturbance, involving two hyenas cleared the area around the shopping center. The sound of crazed laughter echoes out of the building where Bud and Lou have popped out of a Christmas present bag, and greet the heroes:

“Merry Christmas, caped kooks!” They unleash some fire bomb tops that Ace is barely able to dodge. As Streaky flies in to help, Bud cackles madly and a twenty-foot-tall teddy bear appears. Its claws, actually missiles, detach and head straight for the Supercat. He is able to disable two of the missiles with heat vision and diverts the remaining weapon away from the crowd and hurls it into the nearest large body of water. Following that, Streaky uses a full-speed "living drill" spin combined with a heat vision blast (aiming directly for the top of the twenty-foot teddy bear's head for the entrance point and not stopping spinning OR using heat vision until he's directly in the middle of the massive toy and has ruined enough of the inner works that he can be absolutely sure the deadly toy is shut down) to disable the giant teddy bear as quickly and efficiently as possible.

He then returns to trip up the hyenas with his super-breath, allowing Ace the opening to securely "gift wrap" them.

But Bud and Lou laugh and say they're just the opening act for Saint Nick. He has a surprise for the little kitties and pups, they laugh as they're taken away. Streaky remarks that was a strange comment and Ace looks concerned, saying Jimmy the Rat also said something about a 'Saint Nick' plot... and those toys look like the work of Toyman, he says. Ace stops and says they have to get back to the animal shelter immediately.

But Nikki interrupts the story with a question: How could Jimmy the Rat be in Gotham City that afternoon and make it back to the fan club so quickly? Jimmy has an answer: He took a shortcut through the sewer. Streaky gets a queasy feeling looking at the potato chip bowl where the rat has been feeding, but he continues on with his story.

Ace informs Streaky that the Saint Nick that Bud and Lou referred to was not the jolly guy in a red suit, but Toyman's crazed simian pet. Batman and Robin are on the Toyman's trail, but it's up to Ace and Streaky to stop the insane and cybernetically enhanced Saint Nick.

Back at the animal shelter, Sam, jolly as ever, despite a bandaged front paw, says he has a surprise. Several families arrive and pick out puppies for Christmas gifts, Sam's handler's, who have arrived unharmed, carefully questioning them and making sure they sign an agreement promising to look after their new pets. Even Booker notes that he gets a warm feeling thinking about it, but then flames shoot out as a monkey pops out of a Christmas package: it's Saint Nick and he's on the attack. Booker, still in a Santa hat and coat, snarls at the remaining pups and people to get out now and herds the young pets outside, while also growling at a woman who is moving too slowly in his opinion

Fortunately, everyone makes it outside and Streaky and Ace arrive just in time. Streaky is able to fly a limping Sam out of the path of the flames as Saint Nick follows them outside and then has to keep the crazed monkey busy by dodging as Ace helps Booker move everyone else out of the area to safety. Saint Nick, with the remnants of a Christmas package and bow still around his waist, gives a high-pitched scream and exclaims "Christmas surprise! Merry!"

Streaky comments that this isn't even close to meeting safety guidelines for a kids' gift as he dodges machine gun fire, flames, lasers and grenades (since Streaky knows only too well that Toyman thought to put trace amounts of Kryptonite in all of the weapons built into Saint Nick's cybernetics so they could harm even Krypto, Streaky and Superman) at super-speed. It's very rough going, but the super-cat is able to keep it up long enough for Ace to try to sneak up behind the monkey, but with his cybernetically enhanced strength, Saint Nick is able to lift Ace, spin him around and throw him. Fortunately, Streaky is strong and fast enough to catch Ace and unleash a blast of his super-breath on the cyber-primate (Streaky very briefly considers the idea of trying to melt down Saint Nick's cybernetics, but unfortunately, he knows from bitter experience that Saint Nick's cybernetics are made from heat resistant metals [more of Toyman's foresight] so his heat vision wouldn't do much good). Ace activates his bat-light and aims it at Saint Nick before he can recover from Streaky's super-breath blast. The monkey thus blinded, Streaky puts Ace down and flies right into Saint Nick at full speed.

Saint Nick, however, uses his cybernetic tail to wrap around one of Streaky's back legs, whip him into the wall and toss him right into Ace before unleashing another barrage of flame, which both heroes are only barely able to dodge. "Warm holiday for you wishes!" Saint Nick screams. By this time, though, Ace is able to, after giving Streaky a silent "cover your ears" gesture, activate a hypersonic pitch device in his utility collar that throws the cyber-monkey a bit off balance. Streaky takes advantage of this to finally get in a good uppercut against the cybernetically enhanced monkey, which puts the primate out for the count.

Sam thanks Streaky and says he's grateful there are heroes around to help Santa Claus, with all the nasty bad guys running around Gotham City. He assures Streaky he will be rewarded for his bravery, asking what would he like for Christmas. Streaky is beginning to think Sam is kind of screwy, what with all the references to Santa Claus, so he replies, a giant can of tuna as big as Booker will be fine, adding with a smirk, maybe that's asking too much, as big as a moose will work. Sam says he'll remember and assures Streaky that, despite a rough beginning this year, the super-cat has easily made Santa's 'nice' list.

Batman arrives and congratulates the animal heroes on dealing with Saint Nick. Batman seems to be in unusually good humor, having just dealt with the Joker AND Toyman. He smiles, pets Ace and says “Good work, partner” and Ace is obviously pleased despite his best effort to maintain his usual stoic manner. Sam whispers to Streaky that Bat Hound just got his Christmas wish.

As Ace and Batman leave, the animal shelter is nearly deserted. It's late Christmas Eve and three puppies and a kitten remain. Streaky feels bad for them but Sam says his employer is recruiting new helpers and the pups and kitten would be happy and have lots of toys. But one German Shepherd-looking pup says he was inspired watching the heroes fight the bad guys. He says he wants to be like Booker and begins growling and tugging on Streaky's cape, much to the super-cat's annoyance. Booker, smirking at Streaky, says he thinks he can get a smart kid like that into the police dog academy and he's always wanted a young protege. Streaky groans at this, but doesn't say anything about it, remembering that he and Booker swore a truce for the night.

When they turn around Sam, the other two pups and kitten are nowhere to be found, but Streaky's super-hearing picks up sleigh bells off in the distance.

But Ramone has a question, why didn't Streaky use his X-ray vision to make sure it was Santa Claus? Streaky explains you're not supposed to peek at Santa unless it's a dire emergency. Otherwise, it could cause some sort of cosmic crisis, involving the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and the heroes didn't have time for that on Christmas Eve. Squeaky smiles and says, "Sure, Uncle Streaky," but at least credits his uncle for making the story SOMEWHAT more believeable than usual while still keeping in enough action to keep him and his friends entertained.

“Look what dropped out of your uncle's cape,” says Puff. It's a card that says “Sam, Holiday Hounds, trained animals, Gotham City.” All the kittens glare at Streaky but he explains that Sam and his humans were Santa's helpers and they shouldn't be so skeptical. Streaky says he will swear his story is true... well maybe he exaggerated the part about Booker being a good Santa and the part where Batman smiles, but MOST everything else really happened. The kittens just shake their heads, but Jimmy, between potato chip bites, comments that he knows, like Streaky said, at least 90% of that story is true.

Then Streaky says it's getting to be time to go home, it's Christmas Eve and everyone has a big day tomorrow, but please, no talk about toys and the kittens nod, now understanding why Supercat would be soured on toys after the incidents earlier in the day. Streaky pats Squeaky on the head and says he's sure Santa will bring his favorite nephew a lot of neat stuff. In fact, thanks to his X-ray vision, Streaky says he already knows Andrea is getting him a new fancy cat bed.

But when they step outside, there's something unexpected in front of the fan club and Supercat's fans stare in astonishment: a tin of tuna, almost as big as that fat Gotham City police dog. Streaky gives Squeaky a 'told you so' look, licks his chops and thinks, whoever left him the tuna, it's a perfect capper for the best Christmas Eve ever. He opens the can with his heat vision and does a "dig in everybody" gesture to all the fan club members, being sure to give everybody else a fair start before he starts digging in himself. After all, Christmas is the season for sharing... and Streaky realizes the tuna won't keep long once it's opened anyway. He tells himself he'll give more thought to what he asks for next year.

Hello all. I came up with a sequel to "A Kryptonian Canine in King Arthur's Court" while in Las Vegas. Hope you like it.

KRYPTO THE SUPERDOG IN: Tails of Knighthood

The story opens on a sunny afternoon in the backyard. Krypto is taking a nap while Kevin is away at soccer camp. Kevin's mom and Melanie come out the back door and Krypto runs up to them, tail wagging happily. "We're going to the supermarket and will be back in a little while" Mary tells Krypto. K-dog barks and heads back to the doghouse. Shortly after the car pulls out of the driveway, Krypto is awakened by a voice. "Sir Krypto, your King has need of you". Krypto at first thinks he's dreaming or someone is playing a trick on him and he nods back off to sleep. Just then, a holographic image of Merlin appears before Krypto. Krypto at first is startled, but recognizes Merlin. "Sir Krypto, King Arthur has been captured in battle by Sir Mordred the Terrible. You must come to Camelot and help save him". Krypto asks how he will be able to travel back in time. Merlin replies that he can create a time portal similar to the one that brought you and your young squire (Kevin) to us. Get thee to Stonehenge as quickly as you can. The image then disappears.

Krypto changes into Superdog and contacts Bat Hound on the comlink. At first, Ace thinks Krypto is pulling his leg, but after K-dog explains, he agrees to come along. After picking up Ace in Gotham City, our two heroes head to Stonehenge. It is late in the afternoon when they arrive and go to the monument's center. Krypto calls out to Merlin and tells him they're here. Just then, dark clouds cover the area over the monument and two flashes of lightning engulf the monument. Seconds later, K-dog and Ace are met by Sir Thomas and Merlin and are brought to the castle. Krypto introduces Ace to them while on the way. "That is a strange suit of armor you wear, Ace the Bat Hound" Sir Thomas inquires. Ace almost wants to pinch himself saying "This can't be happening, but yet it is!"

Merlin explains that Arthur and most of his knights were captured in a trap set by Mordred so that he could take over Camelot. "I can hold him off for a while with my magic, but Mordred has a very powerful black magic on his side" Merlin says. "You will find Arthur and his knights at Mordred's castle, about an hour's ride near the sea from here. Sir Thomas and the rest of the knights can accompany you to the castle".

    --- break ---

Our heroes and thier friends are about halfway to Mordred's castle when Sir Thomas stops them. "What's wrong?" Krypto asks. Sir Thomas points to a forest ahead and says "The forest is possessed by demons that are loyal to Mordred. We must go another way." Ace tries to tell them there are no such things as demons, but Sir Thomas will not hear of it. Krypto and Ace convince them to go through the forest if they lead the way. They agree and ride into the forest. Ace switches on his bat light and Krypto flies ahead to look for any possible traps that might be set. Finding none, he returns to the group. Suddenly, some of the trees shoot vines around the waists of the knights and pull them off their horses. K-dog takes to the air and uses his heat vision to cut some of the vines, but more come from other trees. Ace is about to fire a round of batarangs when vines completely wrap him up. Krypto turns around and starts to fly toward Ace to help him, but he is captured as well. The trees then spray some type of pollen and everyone falls asleep. When they come to, they are in a dungeon at Mordred's castle. Krypto is the first to come to (though still a little groggy), and notices that he is in chains (as is everyone else). He looks across the hall and notices King Arthur sitting on a bed. "Your Majesty" Krypto cries out. Arthur looks and sees K-dog. "Sir Krypto, you've come to save us". Just then, the door to the dungeon opens and in walks Sir Mordred (all six foot five, 300 pounds of him) carrying a large mace. "Well Arthur, it looks like your brave knights had no chance against my magic" he boastfully says. "I'll give you a fighting chance Arthur, if your strongest knight can defeat me, I'll let you all go free". Arthur points to Krypto and tells Mordred, "That is my strongest knight right there, Sir Krypto". Mordred laughs and says "If this is your strongest knight, then you have no chance at all. Arthur looks at Krypto and K-dog nods his head in agreement. Krypto then tells Mordred, to make it a fair fight, May I be allowed to choose one of the others here? Mordred thinks about it for a moment and agrees. Krypto chooses Ace and they are released from their chains and brought to the arena.

Ace and Krypto plan their strategy while they await Mordred. Then, the doors across from them open and in walks Mordred in full battle armor. "You know you have no chance of beating me" he yells. "We'll certainly give it our best shot" Krypto yells back. Mordred charges them, but Krypto tosses Ace into the air and over Mordred. Krypto then flies right into Mordred and knocks him over. Stunned, Mordred wants to know what kind of magic is this. Krypto says no magic is involved and he grabs Mordred's arm and flings him into the wall. Ace then uses a special batarang that hog ties Mordred. Mordred tries to reach for his mace, but Krypto uses his heat vision to heat the handle of the mace while Mordred screams in pain. "I will summon my black magic to defeat you" Mordred yells. He chants a spell that causes the sand below Ace to start to swallow him. Krypto is able to rescue Bat Hound from the trap, but another spell locks them in a glass case. Mordred is able to break his bonds and walks over to the case. "I will smash you like ants" he yells, but as he raises the mace, a blast of magic stops him in his tracks. Ace and K-dog look to see Merlin hovering over the wall of the arena. He points another finger and the case vanishes. Just then, the doors to the arena open and Arthur and his knights enter the field. Mordred has no choice but to surrender and is locked in his own dungeon.

Back at Camelot, Arthur thanks Sir Krypto and invites him and Ace to a feast. Krypto thanks him, but tells the King that they must return to their own time. Arthur also thanks Bat Hound by making him a knight as well (much to the delight of all around). Ace actually smiles and thanks Arthur. Merlin then chants a spell and our heroes return to Metropolis.

Pretty interesting adventure. Well-written Ladsone. One minor point, though, close to the end, when you mentioned the sand trap, it should have been "KRYPTO was able to save Bat Hound from the trap". Aside from that, QUITE well done.

Thank you my friend. I was in a little hurry to finish this. The editor is going to have to pay a little more attention.

    A New Prologue

*Return of Leo from the Band of Thieves.

As Krypto lies down, Kevin asks him if he feels all right. Krypto tells him not to worry, but Kevin tells him that it's not wrong to worry about a friend. Krypto laughs and tells Kevin he'll never have to worry. Meanwhile, Leo is by himself at the JL headquarters, and gets a strange feeling that he's forgetting something. He thinks back to everything Aria had told him, and what to beware if something were to happen to her. Leo then realizes what it was he was forgetting. Knowing for Aria's sake that he had to warn Krypto, he leaves everyone behind, not telling them anything. Back on Earth, Krypto has agreed to go on patrol with Streaky. They stop a few normal bad guys, and Krypto is pleased that he hasn't had to deal with anything truly troublesome for a while. He glances at a building and for a moment thinks he sees a character that looks like Aria. He blinks for a moment and the figure vanishes. Aria couldn't be alive, he saw her die. That night, Krypto relaxes. While he sleeps, he hears an alarm and wakes up. Going to the location of the crime solo, he discovers a w hole in a wall that was created by some kind of blast. He spots a trail of coins and figures that whoever it was actually was stupid enough to leave a trail. He follows it into a dark alley where a piece of kryptonite falls from the sky. Krypto becomes weak and is unable to move. A mysterious cloaked figure appears and talks in Aria's voice. "Why Krypto, why'd you leave me to die?" the voice asks. Krypto accuses the figure of being an imposter, because he knows Aria is gone. The figure laughs and takes off the cloak. There stands a black dog that looks a lot like Aria. Krypto asks who he is and the dog tells him just to say that Krypto killed his daughter. Krypto doesn't believe the dog of being Aria's father, until he blasts him with dark magic. Krypto becomes convinced and the dog laughs. The dog tells Krypto that he'd rather not destroy him, and that he would much rather keep his promise to Aria. The dog asks Krypto to become his aprentice, but Krypto refuses. The dog tells him that he'll have to use force and a wave of black shadows comes towards Krypto. Krypto still can't move and wonders what's going to happen to him. Suddenly, Leo appears and knocks the kryptonite away. He grabs Krypto and jumps away. "Traitor!" the dog shouts, and Leo tells him that Aria was his boss, not him, and now Krypto is the new leader. The fact that Leo actually listens to Krypto intrigues the dog, and he decides that he wants Krypto alive after all. Leo tells Krypto that Aria was afraid her father might be released when she perished, and that only another dark magic user could him. Krypto remembers that Aria was the only other wielder of dark magic. Krypto thinks about pretending to become his apprentice, but realizes that he'd probably have to sign a contract like he did with Aria. The two try and think of another possible way to defeat him.

Hey, X-626. Once again, some pretty darn good action in that episode idea and good build-up for further action and drama. I'm definitely going to be eagerly looking forward to more of this as it comes.

Nearly letting Kevin die, perhaps? I'm not really sure, but I'm pretty certain it'd have to be losing either Superman or Kevin, or perhaps Earth being destroyed completely, or something like that. Hope that helped

    I already tried that
