Cartoon Network (ended 2006)
I'm going to reuse Dark Krypto. >_>
Name: Dark Krypto
Species: Same as Krypto.
Abilities/Equipment: Same as Krypto, but wears a black cape and black symbol.
Background: Created from red kryptonite when Krypto was exposed to it by Mechanikat. His first appearance only lasted for 24 hours where he brainwashed Kevin and tried to blow up the city. His second appearance was when Krypto was stressed out from being overworked. He lost control of his body and Dark Krypto took over. His next appearance is when Delilah ressurects Dark Krypto using the piece of red kryptonite and special machines. He seeks to erase Krypto's memories from his own, because due to Krypto's memories he feels an unusual attachment to Kevin. Perhaps he's not as evil as he wants everyone to believe.
General Physical Description: Looks like Krypto.
Ideal Voice: Richard Ian Cox
richard cox as dark krypto. you most really like inu-yasha.
Here's the file on my first contribution to Isaac's League of Super-Cats idea.
For the name of Power Puss's adopted world, I kind of got the inspiration to spell "Pre-Crisis" backwards and then adding both an "'A'" to the front of each word AND an "'ia'" to the END of each word to make the inspiration a bit less obvious while making it sound VERY MUCH like alien words.
Name: Haliberra Jennivernes aka Power Puss
Species: Kryptonian Domestic Cat (female)
Abilities/Equipment: Being Kryptonian, Power Puss naturally has the full range of standard Kryptonian powers (flight, super-strength [though not QUITE as much strength as her LoSC teammate, Gruff]), super-speed, X-ray vision, telescopic vision, super-hearing, heat vision, super-breath etc.) and, in fact, because her adopted world (Asisircia-Aerpia) orbits 45, 000, 000 miles away from a yellow sun twice the size of Earth's and the planet iteself has four times weaker gravity than Earth, she is actually one of THE most powerful animal heroes in the universe. Of course, like all Kryptonians, Power Puss ALSO has all the standard Kryptonian WEAKNESSES (Kryptonite, red solar energy, heavy gravity etc.); like with both Krypto and Beppo, Power Puss's rocket was provided with an intergalactic communicator that would allow any single individual using it to not only understand Power Puss, but any non-infant member of any other species.
Background: On her home world, the Kryptonian cat that would come to be known as Power Puss was a stray and never had a name (or at least, never knew it), but was picked up off the streets by Jor-El, who was looking for expendable test animals for his rocket experiments. Two months before Jor-El launched Krypto into space, but two months AFTER using a monkey by the name of Beppo as a test rocket animal, Jor-El used this cat. The rocker, however, encountered a freak space/time warp during the flight and the rocket holding the cat ended up getting propelled 30 years into the future and 360 LIGHT YEARS from Krypton (which had the upside of the cat surviving Krypton's destruction).
On the other end of the warp, the cat crash landed on another world (the planet Asisirca-Aerpia) and her rocket was discovered by a wealthy couple (the Gennivernes) and their young daughter, who also found the cat (and the daughter, Kimelabla, found an "intergalactic communicator" that would allow her to speak to the cat). Being that she was the only feline survivor of the planet Krypton, this cat who was a nameless stray on her own world was now an ultra-rare and, thus, fancy breed and given the name Haliberra.
It was a darn good thing that the Gennivernes, despite their wealth, were actually a pretty good family who were making sure Haliberra was raised properly, because Asisirca-Aerpia's yellow sun and much lighter gravity (as opposed to Krypton) was providing her with tremendous physical powers. Out of gratitude for this planet taking her in, the lovingly pampered Haliberra decided to follow the "nobliss oblige" attitude and use her powers to help out when she was needed. Ultimately, Haliberra came to be known as "Power Puss" to her entire adopted world except the family that took her in.
For a good length of time, Power Puss was unquestionably her adopted world's premire animal super-heroine (in fact, she was pretty much the only super-hero on Asisirca-Aerpia), but it wasn't until the day that the diabolical Doctor Apocalypse launched his ultimate weapon in an effort to launch a plantery blackmail scheme that could still be pulled off despite Power Puss's interference (a combination super-magnet [pulling in an entire asteroid belt on a collision course with the planet], weather machine [devising all manner of earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and electrical storms]) and animal enlarger/controller [that put all animals NATIVE to Asisirca-Aerpia under his absolutely control and increased their size and proportionate abilities 24fold [Power Puss was immune because she was born on Krypton]) that Power Puss had her first encounter with other animal super-heroes, namely the Dog Star Patrol (including both Krypto AND Streaky) AND the League of Super-Cats.
At first, Power Puss was reluctant to accept the help, but all this going on WAS too much for even her to handle on her own; something she came to grudgingly admit. Of course, she and Streaky did NOT like each other very much (Streaky was put off by Power Puss's haughtiness and Power Puss considered Streaky an inferior breed [ironically forgetting that she was a stray growing up on Krypton]), but the two still VERY grudgingly put up with each other enough to focus their energies on helping those in trouble. While Power Puss, most of the Dog Stars and most of the League of Super-Cats focused on saving lives and minimizing the effects of the disasters, Brainy Barker and Diamond focused on tracking down the source of the chaos and putting a stop to it. Reluctantly grateful to the heroes for their help, the arrogant, but honorable Power Puss acknowledged that she owed the other heroes a lot. When Diamond offered Power Puss a spot on the LoSCs, the super-feline accepted out of gratitude even though she admitted that she still had a lot to learn about being a team player.
Personality: Arrogant but very honorable; can come off as aloof and snobbish, but does have a geniune interest in helping out those in trouble because of her awareness of the responsibilities her great powers carry. She is also a very loyal "ally" to the League of Super Cats (she would never consider them friends [out loud] though they are the closest things to friends aside from her young owner, Kimelabla, she will admit to).
Description: Looks like a standard mixed breed cat with a medium blue-silver fur coat and golden eyes. She also wears a fine white collar emblazened with silver jewels and a royal purple cape attached.
Note: This is "present day"; Power Puss does mellow out a bit (though just a bit) later on thanks to Atomic Tom (and I'll let catfan1 handle that file when he gets around to it, just as I'll let Isaac handle the files on the original four League of Super Cats members since he DID create them).
Name: Sneaky the Invisible Kitten
Abilities/Equipment: Sneaky has the power to become invisible and intangable at any given moment. He also has the power to jump against walls just like Batman/Bat-Hound.
Background: Sneaky was one of Streaky and Princess's kittens, who was only one out of two kittens that developed superpowers. When Krypto and Streaky noticed one kitten was missing, and then the same cat reappeared, they found out they had a cat with invisible powers. It was very useful when they were caught in a bad situation. (Explained in Episode Ideas II once I makeup a story for it) One year later, he joined the League of Supercats.
Personality: Sort of like Squeaky's.
General Description: He is always a mix of gray, orange and yellow. Krypto made up a cape and mask for him.
Not bad, dcfan1. One little nitpick though. "The Beast in Squeaky", the fan episode idea that had the birth of the kittens, was a near-future story idea (three human years from the time frame of the Krypto series), so this ACTUALLY belongs in the "Future Animals" discussion. I hope you don't take offense to this correction.
