  • Second part of pilot.

This was a very good part two of the pilot. This is where Krypto gets an emergency and must save a ship load of animals on their way to the Metropolis Zoo. The appearance of Superman at the end of this episode made this episode a great one to watch.
  • The introduction to Krypto couldn't be any better.

My honest opinion about this episode is simple. It's awesome for a pilot episode. Krypto is Superman's dog, and is shot off into space as a test pilot for a rocket when he's just a puppy, where he lands on Earth fully grown and seeks out a boy. Who else but the lonely Kevin Whitney, who just moved to Metropolis? Using a communication device that Krypto brought over, Kevin can understand the "Superdog" and any other animal. After becoming best friends, he's put to the test to save a ship full of zoo animals from sinking. Under his new name of Superdog, he defends the animals of Metropolis. The real tearjerking moment here is the end, where Superman lets Krypto stay with Kevin. What I felt hard to ignore in the end was the music that was playing (I'm serious). With a successful pilot, this show should be even better in the second season. 10/10
