  • Streaky finally falls in love, but Isis shows up to ruin the fun.

Krypto and Streaky are on patrol, when they spot a fire at the fish factory. After putting it out, they find a cat on a boat, who introduces herself as Princess, cat of the queen of Katalia. After introducing themselves as well, Princess asks if they'd join her for lunch. Krypto declines the offer, and Streaky instead proposes the idea of her coming along with them. She knows that she's not allowed to leave the boat, but by coincidence, a strange cat who looks almost exactly the same comes by and says that she can take Princess' place on the boat for a while so Princess can have a good time (this is foreshadowing right here). Katie, the cat, waits for all of them to leave before inviting Isis onboard to steal the queen's jewels. Meanwhile, Streaky and Princess enjoy their time away, and Krypto goes about his patrol routes again. Upon arriving back at the boat, Princess is greeted by a now not-so-friendly Katie, who says she likes the life she has so much, she wants it all the time. Princess is thrown off the boat because she's the one who looks like a stray, but she clings on when Isis pilots the boat out of the harbor and away from Metropolis. Krypto and Streaky, who have just been looking for Isis, realize she's after the queen's jewels, and they go after the boat, rescue Princess, and Krypto, showing tremendous strength, lifts up the boat so Streaky can catch Isis and Katie.

Streaky finally has real emotions for Princess, and vice versa. I still believe Krypto knows better than Streaky when not to get involved with something. A good episode that everyone should see. 10/10moreless
  • Streaky finally gets to be a romantic lead in this charming episode.

The episode opens with Streaky playing his usual role as Krypto's bumbling sidekick, but before it's over, he shows another side of his persona, the romantic lead, as he meets royal cat, Princess, in this episode loosely based on "The Prince and the Pauper." Streaky and Princess make a very cute couple as they explore the less-than-royal sights of Metropolis together. Streaky also displays his heroic side, coming to Princess's rescue and helping nab the villains. Nitpicks: It would have been nice if Streaky would have had more clever lines, (and could Streaky and Princess be, like, more naive, trusting a cat they've never seen before on a boat with those valuable jewels? I went with it though.) but it's still a lot of fun, mostly because of the charming characters. Maybe not the best Streaky episode, but hard to dislike and I wouldn't mind seeing Princess again. She seems like she'd be a good influence on Streaky.
