  • Meet Streaky the Supercat!

I knew Andrea's cat would soon become a major part in this series, and now he has. A nasty pack of dogs called the Downtown Dogs have been chasing Streaky for most of the time Streaky has been there, but when a malfunction leads to Streaky acquiring Kryptotonian powers, he gets some well deserved revenge on the Downtown Dogs. This was one of the best episodes of the series, and I give it a perfect 10 out of 10.moreless
  • The out of place intro to Supercat is definitely something to see.

It starts out with Krypto flying through the sky and finding a brand new fire hydrant (he's a dog after all). This is interrupted by a cat being chased by a group of three stray dogs (the Downtown Dogs as they're known). After saving him from them, the cat introduces himself as Streaky, and learns of Krypto's identity (it's not like he'd tell anyone after he saved his life). I'm sure as many of you know he's been introduced before. Anyways, he gets himself into trouble later (again) and the Downtown Dogs chase him into STAR Labs, where Krypto arrives too late to stop him from activating a doubling ray. By accident, a ray hits Krypto and bounces off of him (super coat), hitting Streaky. After taking him home, they find out the next day that Streaky has powers as well. Though promising not to use his newfound powers irresponsibly, he does anyway and goes to exact his revenge on the dogs. After having some "fun" with them, he accidentally breaks the support beams to the house they were in. With Krypto's help, the dogs escape, and Streaky learns his lesson about using his powers responsibly.

OK, last time I'll mention this. This episode is out of place with the episodes before it. It's well known that this is the case, but we still don't know why the producers misplaced this purposefully. Come on, they wouldn't let a flaw like this get through on accident. Even still, I loved this because it gave Streaky a great spotlight. This would've done better as a 22 minute episode, but even still, I salute it and give it a solid 10/10moreless
